On June 19, 2025 BITS Pilani conduct conference on Innovative Technologies Transforming Higher Education.
BITS Pilani ranked in the 801–850 band globally as per QS World University Rankings 2026.
The college has necessary facilities and infrastructure available. It has good classrooms, well equipped labs and sports facilities as well. Wifi is also available. Food is hygienic and cleanliness is maintained.
The teachers are well versed with the courses they teach and try to implement the learning with real life applications. The curriculum is regularly updated according to the needs and various courses are available for students to pursue.
The college has excellent placements every year. The placement unit of college is extremely supportive and tries to get companies offering good placements. Even during pandemic the college had excellent placement statistics.
The fee is at a bit on higher end. Though scholarship is provided to student on basis of MCN and merit. Educational loans are also available if one is unable to afford the fee. Hostel fee is reasonable.
Wonderful campus life with very supportive teachers and seniors. The campus is very safe with guards posted everywhere. The campus atmosphere is nice though the medical conditions can be improved on campus.
The infrastructure is pretty well developed. All the hostels have access to WiFi. There are many eateries in the campus ttoo . The library is huge and is partially air-conditioned. The labs are well advanced with the latest technologies and equipment. There is the Students Activity Centre which has badminton, tennis and squash courts. The gym is also inside in the SAC and is really good, has all the machines and equipment. Also ,there are basket ball courts ,football ,cricket and hockey ground,
The peer quality is outstanding. So, there is a really healthy environment of peer learning at the campus .The grading system is relative grading and is quite tough, you get a C at average in most of the subjects.
The placement at the campus is decent. Around 90% of the students who applied for placements got selected . The highest packages are mainly offered in IT sector roles as the top recruiting companies like Amazon , Flipkart etc come for these roles . The internship culture at the campus is also really good. There is a system of Practice school in which you get to itern in a company for 6 months through institute only.
Infrastructure is really good, the new academic block mainly. The facilities are good and decently neat. Classrooms, library, hostels are very good. Sports facilities are also very decent, the college provides us with some sponsoring, etc.
Academics wise many professors are awesome, even research projects can be undertaken under most. But some don't have great speaking skills, but good knowledge though. A very few professors are a little sadistic. Grading is tough.
Placements wise outstanding number of companies recruit from the campus. All type of jobs ranging from IT, data science, finance, consulting to core electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, or even product management roles are offered.
The campus is really huge. It has two temples too, which is quite impressive. The buildings and the girls' hostel are ancient, and the college never puts an effort to renovate them. The campus gets really cold during winters and extremely hot during summers.
Every faculty is excellent, but few. Few faculty members don't have good speaking skills and tend to speak in Hindi now and then, which is not too bad, but there are several south Indians in the class who don't really understand the languages get confused often. Some faculty are not so perfect in the subjects they're teaching. The question papers are very tough, and we hardly get a C grade for average, which is really depressing.
They are pretty good. I don't really have a clear idea about the placements because I never sat for any as I'm still in my second year of education. But from the statistics, I can say that many huge companies do come during placements, and almost 90-95% of those who sit for placements are placed in decent companies for sure.
Too costly.
Haven't experienced much due to covid
the college premises is very good. the library which is present in the campus is very huge and it has every facility which helps students to get whatever they want and also the classrooms are very good and confertable.
all the professors are always ready to help the students in every possible ways. there are consultancy hours for every student . at that time students can personally go near the prof and clear their doubts.
placements are really very nice.. many multi national companies come for placements and maximum students get placed in their respective fields and also the average package given is also high in BITS Pilani.
as compared to other iits the fees of BITS Pilani is a bit high but at the same time there are lot more things that is present in bits but not in many bits. there are manu sources which we will get in bits.
The college is very well developed and is equipped with modern infrastructure. Labs, wifi, food outlets, sports grounds, smart boards, are some facilities that we have. Vending machines are also there and all food outlets are clean and the people are friendly.
I am studying Msc. Bio+ B.E. EEE. The bio dept is extremely supportive and talented. All professors have excelled academically and the classes are very engaging. We are regularly told about the latest researches.
The placements are good. We have plenty of opportunities here at BITS where we can explore multiple career options. I am still in second year so i don't know much about the procedure but they are pretty supportive.
They are fine. Some of the infrastructure are outdated and need to be renovated. On the brightside we have sufficient facilities in the campus including lab equipments, sports props, hostel services etc.
The institute offers quite a range of course to choose from, apart from your respective compulsary department courses. The quality of teaching is average, some professors are outstanding, while others...not so much.
Placement scenarios vary from year to year. The average package varies from 12 lakhs to 18 lakhs. There also is a good percentage of students ate are placed every season. Overall, you will get somewhere.

Infrastructure of bits pilani is very good . The whole campus is having high speed internet connection . Classrooms are very big and clean . All the laboratory have necessary equipment . Only hostels have small rooms .
Curriculum is always updated by teachers as per industry needs . We are given more practical knowledge . Teachers are very kind and also having lots of experience in their own field of teaching to various students .

Campus life of Bits pilani is soo soo soo awesome . The campus life is best as one could get . The college have multiple clubs to have ample amount of exposure. The infrastructure is spot with multiple cafeteria.
The ambience and exposure is relevant better than any other college of India . Plenty of placement opportunities as well as college faculty are very highly educated . Multiple clubs are available for self exposure .
Labs and classrooms are good. The library is responsive and well maintained. Sports facilities are good. Indoor games are Bad. Old Hostels and auditorium suck! Hostels are equipped with Wifi. Campus ambience is nice.
Moving machines interested me so I took up manufacturing. Majorly all professors are considerate and knowledgeable. The curriculum is good. Some professors are not good at delivering. Grading is tough.
Qualitatively good companies recruit in vast fields also inter-disciplinary this is possible due to flexible course structure. IT packages are high as usual when compared to core. Average placements are around 10 lacs CTC per annum.
Choice depends on your career goals and interest.
BITS BPharm is a top institute but the course is in pharmacy, not related to computer science or engineering. Choose it only if you are interested in pharmaceutical or research fields.
SRM AP CSE offers good curriculum and infrastructure. It is suitable for students aiming for a tech career and has better scope in computer science.
VIT Bhopal CAE is a specialized course in computer applications and engineering. It is good for students interested in AI, data science, or related fields, but the campus is relatively new.
If you are focused on a career in computer science, SRM AP CSE is a better option among the three. Avoid BITS BPharm if your goal is to work in the tech industry.
