BITS Pilani ranked in the 801–850 band globally as per QS World University Rankings 2026.
The college infrastructure is really excellent. The newly renovated campus look brand new . We do have many sports facilities and grounds for sports. We do have a library with 18 lakhs plus books and we are also given high speed internet 24/7 .And our canteen food is really excellent.
I am studying Msc.physics since physics is my passion I took that course the quality of teaching is really good all the teachers are well experienced and very friendly in nature they also give us many research ideas and tips . The course curriculum is updated according to the modern trends.
It's a well known fact that a campus like bits will have a very good placement rate and very high packages as well the placement rate is about 96 and the highest package is around 1.5cr. And the remain 5 percent of the unplaced students are mostly the students who choose higher studies. And the avg salary is around 11 lakhs
Yes, I have experienced all the facilities in my classrooms, laboratories, sports centres and hostels. One of the best thing about college is BITs Library. All the automation and facilities they have provided is really good. All the students get single room in the sophomore year. The living places and mess food are hygienic and they do changes according to the feedback provided by the students.
I have done Masters in Pharmacy, General Pharmacy there. The best thing about BITS in terms of education is the students get exposure to all the laboratory equipments, research opportunities with the one of the best Ph.D Scholars. The curriculum includes everything that make you ready for all the initial hurdles one has to cross before getting any employment. I have got a chance to work as teaching assistant that makes you build a confidence and improve your managing skills.
All the students get placed in the top most companies all over the world. Placement Unit, BITs Pilani is always been supportive to the students to get placed in the companies of their choice. The placement process is quite easy to get along with. The salary offered by the companies is quite good as compared to other top tier colleges. I remember the highest package offered to one of the BITS students was 1 Crore (Do not remember which course and the company).
It costed me 2 lacs per semester that is 8 lacs per course which I feel it is too costly but worth spending money to get placed in the desired companies.
Its a well known fact that bits pilani is very old campus. And many of you maybe thinking the the college infrastructure is very old. Then you are wrong. The fact that bits is a very old campus is true but the whole campus is being renovated. And the present campus is really good.
There is no doubt that academics at bits pilani is good.its a dream for any science student to get a admission to a prestigious college like bits pilani.I am studying in physics stream(M.sc in physics)And the curriculum is a very unique.
coming to the aspect of placement the placements at bits (all three campus in India)are really good .And the average package is around 11 lakhs. Around 94% of students get placed .and remaining mostly go for higher studies.
Compared to BE days there was a improvement in food. Digital library access was provided to the students. There were few changes made in the building. Classrooms were enabled with projector to have audio visual studies.
Teaching quality is very good. Compared to BE now in ME there is more emphasis on research and practical aspect. There are projects offered by various reputed companies which we are allowed to do to increase our skills.
LIke BE payed internships are provided here and here the stipend is high. There is a long list of loyal recruiters and strong alumni network which enhances the placement process. Most of the students has multiple offers.
During BE days mess food was not very good. Rooms are spacious enough and well ventilated. Library is very big and lots of books are there which can be issued. Laboratories in our department are well maintained and can be accessed any time.
Its one of the best college in the country to study the subject. Teachers are well trained professionals having industry and research oriented background. Programming is made really easy and we aere taught from the very base
Payed internships are provided by the college in reputed companies. More than 90% of the students were placed. Median salary was around 9lakhs. Highest was above 50lakhs. Lots of reputed companies comes like Amazon, Microsoft, etc.
BITS has infrastructure, having all facilities and required equipments. We have good labs, library, IT labs. WiFi campus which is well cleaned and hygiene also well maintained.overall it is very good campus .
I am studying M.Tech from BITS. Quality of teaching is very good here, all lecturers are very professional in their work and make students learn as per the need of the Industry.Curriculum is always updated. It makes you job ready ofcourse.
Placements are good here in BITS , they provide time to time on campus placement and as well as participation in serval hiring events which enable us to grab more good opportunity. College is very supportive .
It's worth.
All required facilities available. The periodic renovation of the institute buildings, parks, sports fields and hostels is very satisfying and maintains the standard of the college throughout. Lavish Greenery compliments all of this.
Up to the mark and at par with international standards. The faculty is young and energetic, they use all the modern methods of teaching and make sure that the students understand the concepts both theoretically and practically.
It's known for placements, they are great here. Specially in the top the branches of the college that are :- C.S.E. , E.E.E. , E.N.I. ,being circuital branches have extravagant placements. All the premium companies participate in the placement session of the college.
It's fine but still a little overpriced.
Satisfied with the huge and well developed campus.
Lead,Learn, Achieve.
The college is just modern-like with a beautiful layout. The classes are equipped with air conditioners and the building is functional with a centralised air conditioned system. The Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. The library has a remarkable collection with a well-defined structure. There are large playgrounds and the sports facilities are duly available. There are many eateries to go to, and the food is hygienic and affordable. The smart boards are also installed in classes.
I am pursuing mechanical engineering due to my love for machines. The curriculum needs some updations, but ut definitely makes the students job ready. The teachers are highly experienced and qualified. The internal processes are smooth and there's more emphasis placed on research and practicality of the subjects, unlike some other colleges where rote learning is encouraged.
The recruitment drive is held in the college. The placements are sound with the average package being around 12 to 13 lacs p/a, which is a humongous amount and worthy enough to give a kick start to a career. There is a placement cell which is responsible for inviting big players of the market like Google, Facebook, Microsoft etc. Hence, the college is supportive in this respect. But, the placements should be more course friendly,as some courses' students don't have companies with their profiles.
The fee structure is pretty high as one has to pay around 5 lacs yearly, which is not reasonably affordable for many students. But the provision of all the basic amenities and other perks make this college worth an investment. Yes, I do feel I am getting my money's worth.
The college has a beautiful campus. There are spacious lawns and clean work spaces. The location of the college is a bit depressing as it is isolated from the main part of city, but one would not feel any limitations inside the college. The support staff is cooperative and the teachers are the best mentors. There is a medical room to handle the emergencies. There are various societies in the college, like the dance society is pretty amazing, for the students to engage in. Sports is also good.
I would recommend this college as it provides facilities and there's a high guarantee for getting hired in the campus. The teachers are good and the extra curricular activities are even better, which makes sure that one is not into academics always!
The college is in sync with the modern times. The campus is quite beautiful and peaceful. The classes are equipped with air conditioners and the whole campus has a Wi-Fi network that can be connected to anywhere. It has its own server where everything from study to movies are available. The library is state of the art with a modern 3-D printer too. The campus has various eateries to go to and the food is delicious. There are large cricket grounds and football grounds to play.
The study material is very interesting as it provides with enough knowledge so the the student can himself discover in which field he wants to go to. The curriculum has been taken from the MIT in US and is hence ok. Although a student has to be self-sufficient as the academics aren't enough to get a good placement.
The placements at the college are awesome. Companies like Google, facebook, amazon, microsoft, etc come here every year to recruit students. The average salary offered is 12-13 lakhs. Students also go for higher studies abroad at universities like MIT, Harvard,UC, etc.
The fees is quite high. It's safe to assume that you have to be a little wealthy to study here as compared to other colleges. But the peer group and interaction with the seniors is something that isn't in many colleges and hence if you can afford thr fees, there is no doubt that you'll be happy here. There is scholarship system too so you can avail it on the basis of your CGPA in your semesters.
The campus is just so beautiful. There is a museum inside the college. The sports grounds are well maintained and the gym is equipped with everything you'd need to exercise. The students are smart and hence the competition is quite high. The location is quite rural but the campus is going to let you feel that with its facilities. The teachers are amazing mentors both in studies and the path of life.
We have all the necessary infrastructure, up to date lab equipments. Classrooms are digital. Teaching via smart boards and presentations. Sport centred are very well maintained. Hostels are okayish. Cleaning done regularly. Food quality is good.
Market and industry oriented coursework. Curriculum still not updated much. Teaching quality is good, not excellent. Curriculum doesn't include latest developments in the field, but is industry oriented and hands-on.
Quality of placement declining by each passing year. Placement unit needs improvements. Most of the students get placed. No idea about the average salary. Still compared to our college's past reputation, placement has seen a downslide.
Yes. Surely it's value for money. Around 5 Lacs per year.
College campus, although small, but is very beautiful and well maintained. Location is quite odd, because it is located in a small city like Pilani.
Choice depends on your career goals and interest.
BITS BPharm is a top institute but the course is in pharmacy, not related to computer science or engineering. Choose it only if you are interested in pharmaceutical or research fields.
SRM AP CSE offers good curriculum and infrastructure. It is suitable for students aiming for a tech career and has better scope in computer science.
VIT Bhopal CAE is a specialized course in computer applications and engineering. It is good for students interested in AI, data science, or related fields, but the campus is relatively new.
If you are focused on a career in computer science, SRM AP CSE is a better option among the three. Avoid BITS BPharm if your goal is to work in the tech industry.
