Hello,
Jadavpur University and Calcutta University both are goverment college. So if you give the WBJEE examination but didn't take part for counselling then you can't get admission this colleges for particular courses, like Technology, pharmacy etc.
But if you want to take admission there for any regular subject like honours in mathematics as example then you can apply it. Because regular bachalor degree you can apply without any entrance examination, the admission going on basis of your marks like 12th merit list.
All the best.

Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Jain University has an overall student rating of 3.4/5 and students have mostly given moderate reviews about the university.
For this particular course, the education is good, as lecturers provide qualitative education & even the infrastructure is maintained quite well with labs, wifi connections, canteen facilities, etc. but major point when it comes to placement, the placement opportunities aren’t that great. Hardly 65% of students gets placed in the on campus placement selection according to the student reviews.
Companies like HAL, NAL, Mahindra Aerospace, etc take part in the placement cell.
Meanwhile,
Chandigarh Univeristy has an overall student rating of 4.4/5 and it has mostly good and positive reviews.
The university has very well maintained the infrastructure and other important facilities for students comfort and for providing them a good studying environment.
The lecturers are highly qualified and provide qualitative education to their students.
When it comes to placements, 80-85% of students gets placed & the highest salary was 28 lakhs per annum whereas the average salary offered to students stay between 4-6 lakhs per annum.
Top companies like Tata Advanced Systems, Indigo, Aviotron Automations, etc. take part in the placement cell.
Therefore, when it comes to placement wise and a little bit in education wide as well, Chandigarh Univeristy has better scope & is slightly more better than Jain Univeristy.
I hope the above information helps.
All the very best.
