Hello student ,
Here I will suggest you to go through Chandigarh University because if we talk about placement then Chandigarh university has far better placement than Lovely Professional University for aerospace engineering . As it has set new record with Joint Placement Drive for Hewlett Packard in which large number of students has participated .Further aerospace department has many clubs for increasing the interest of students in various activities so that they can participate in the international level of competition.
Hope this helps !
Hello,
To get cse in NIT Kurukshetra you need to get a percentile of atleast 99.4+ only then you would be able to get cse branch in this college.
Any other branch would be achieved in 96-97 percentile like mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil engineering .These cut offs vary a bit depending upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

Hi Karthikeya!
Both colleges provide good placement opportunities to students of CSE in the top recruiting companies such as amazon, microsoft, cognizant, optimizer, capgemini , TCS, Wipro, Adobe, Infosys , etc. LPU has offered the highest salary package of 42 LPA and CU has offered highest salary package of 31 LPA. The average salary package in both colleges ranges between 4-5.5 LPA.
In a nutshell, there is not much difference in the placement records of both colleges, almost same companies visits the both campuses for recruitment. So, it depends on the knowledge and skills of students to grab any opportunity.
Hope it helps to clear your dilemma, thankyou!

Hello vaishnavi
Both of them good University but according to my opinion I can say that CU certain better in a few areas. One such area is placements. Leading MNCs visit the CU campus every year for recruitment. If you study here, you have better chances of getting an offer during the campus placements as the university has tie-up with large number of companies.
Please visit the link and compare the college .

Dear Shashank,
See, the Chandigarh University is growing really well. The NIRF ranking and other reputation it has gained in few years only is commendable. Talking about faculty, the faculty is overall good. You need to understand the fact that in university or college level you are mature enough and you need to learn yourself with self study. No doubt teachers will help you. But unlike school, here you can't give all the headache to teacher. You need to take care of your studies, yourself only, even if you go in any University or college. The culture is same everywhere. Moreover, if we talk drug culture, no doubt every sector has bad elements in it. It depends on you whether to choose to stay with them or away from them. If you are opting for hostel, ensure that your roommate is drug free. Or you can consider single seater or can go with your friends. Or you can choose to stay in PG's (Paying guest) as well. You will meet many people having different opinions about a particular thing or place. It's always you who need to decide what is best for you. Feel free to drop any query related to this or else. We are always ready to help you.
Hope this resolved your query.
