The infrastructure for the MBA program was quite impressive. The library was well-stocked and provided a great study environment, and the hostels were comfortable and well-maintained. Overall, the facilities supported both my academic work and personal comfort effectively the wifi used to work effectively .
During my MBA studies at Chandigarh University, I found the coursework to be intense and demanding. I had to manage a lot of assignments and projects, which really helped me understand complex business concepts. The professors were highly knowledgeable and shared practical industry insights, making my learning experience quite valuable.
was pleased with the placement support available during my MBA. Several companies visited the campus for recruitment, and the university provided good assistance with resume building and interview preparation. While securing a job required individual effort, the support made a significant difference.
Although the MBA program is relatively expensive, I believe it’s worth the cost. The quality of education and the resources provided make it a good investment. I feel that the skills and knowledge I gained are beneficial for my future career, justifying the expense.
Campus life was busy and sometimes overwhelming due to the heavy workload, but I still enjoyed it. There were numerous activities and events to participate in, which helped balance out the rigorous academic schedule and made my time at the university enjoya.
The infrastructure at our MCA campus is functional but not as impressive as the main campus. The facilities meet basic needs but don’t offer the full university experience I was hoping for, partly due to the distance from the main campus.
Academically, I’m satisfied with the MCA program. The curriculum is practical and aligns well with industry standards, and the faculty members are knowledgeable. Unfortunately, being so far from the main campus means I don’t have the same access to additional academic resources.
In my experience, the MCA program at Chandigarh University provides good placement opportunities. Several well-known companies visit our campus, which is a positive aspect. However, I sometimes feel disconnected from the broader placement activities because our campus is 2-3 kilometers away from the main one.
I find that the MCA course offers decent value for the money. The education quality and placement support make it a worthwhile investment. Still, I can't help but feel that we miss out on some benefits because we’re not on the main campus.
Campus life for MCA students isn’t as lively as it could be. Since our classes are held 2-3 kilometers away from the main campus, I feel like I’m missing out on many university events and activities, which affects the overall experience.
Chandigarh University had good infrastructure compare to others college where i study . It provides all facilities to the students and different different departments with all different streams. So that no one confuse
The academic part of Chandigarh University was very good. Every faculty give there 100% to explain the topic to the students so that they understand and grab opportunity in their future and achieve their goals
Chandigarh University provides 100% placement to the students. So that every student get there dream job and achieve high goals in future. They was separte placement cell for the students so that they can help students
I think Chandigarh University is a value for money college for me because it give great exposure to the students so that they can understand the situation, and work accordingly to that and achieve their dreams
It was great experience in my college. There many students from different cities and different cultures, it was interesting in understanding their culture and following it so that everyone can connect with each other
No
The infrastructure looks good, with modern classrooms and a big library, but it’s not well-maintained. The campus is nice, but sometimes it feels crowded and not very comfortable for studying in college
The academics are okay, but not as good as expected. The teachers know their subjects, but the teaching methods aren’t very exciting or up-to-date. There’s a lot of theory, but not enough practical learning, especially in finance.
The placement opportunities are not as great as advertised. While some companies visit the campus, the job offers aren’t always impressive. The placement cell tries to help, but many students end up finding jobs on their own.
The college doesnt feel valued for money sometimes because the fees are quite high, but the quality of education and placements doesn’t match up. It feels like you’re paying more than what you get in return
The campus life is busy, but it can be boring. There are lots of events and activities, but it’s difficult to find a good balance between studying and participating in events. The atmosphere can be a bit too hectic at times.
CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY was great college in my mind. As it has big department and separte department of all streams and big auditorium for organizing the events, mainly focusing on students to get all facilities.
The academic part of Chandigarh University is very good. As every faculty is good in solving the query of students and explained the topics in brief so that every can understand and clear all doubts..
There separate placement cell for the students to give them proper guidence for the placement drives and give them proper feedback about what they have to improve or which type of skills they meed to upgraded
I think Chandigarh University is value for money because it give great exposure to the students which are coming from small town and change according to the present time by doing some activities and organizing events for them
The campus life of Chandigarh University was very good as there are different students from states and different cultures and its very good understanding there cultural activities and taking part in them
No
My college has a good infrastructure. There were big playground, classroom, and auditorium for events . The infrastructure wad like a Haven. They are many departments will all streams. My college also have good facilities for students parking.
The college faculty are good . They provide great knowledge and solve the query from us . They orovide explanation about the topic in best way so that everyone can understand and easily gained it and use in the future for their opportunity
They provide good placement for the students so thay everyone can get their dreams job in future. And achieve their goals in life . Its has great placement cell they give proper guidance to the students for the placement drive
I think Chandigarh University was a value for money because it provides a great exposure to students by understanding them and sometimes organising some events for taking them outside the teaching zone so that they create ideas for future and achieve long term goals
It was great experience in my college. There many students from different cities and different cultures, it was interesting in understanding their culture and following it so that everyone can connect with each other.
Chandigarh University has a large campus with modern buildings, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The classrooms are well-equipped, but some areas need better upkeep. While the university offers a lot in terms of facilities, there’s still room for improvement, especially when it comes to making the environment more welcoming and well-maintained.
I’m doing my MBA here, and I’ve found the teaching to be just okay. The professors the way they teach could be better. The lessons sometimes feel a bit dull, and I think they could do more to make the classes engaging and easier to understand. It’s not bad, but it could be much better with some changes.
The placements at Chandigarh University are pretty good. A lot of seniors have landed jobs in well-known companies, which is encouraging. The university does a good job of connecting students with employers, so if you’re focused and prepared, there’s a good chance of getting placed.
For the fees we pay, I think Chandigarh University offers decent value, but there’s definitely room for more. While the placement opportunities are strong, I feel that the academic experience and infrastructure could be improved to make the investment more worthwhile. The university is heavily advertised, but the reality doesn’t always match up with the expectation
The campus is big and offers plenty of activities, but getting around can sometimes be a hassle. The way everything is spread out makes it hard to stay connected with all the happenings. In short, Chandigarh University has a lot to offer, but there are areas where it could do better, particularly in academics and campus life. It’s a good experience, but with a few improvements, it could be even better.
Our college is greate in terms of infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Almost everything is available here. Facilities in our classroom is kind of average, there are three types of classrooms in our college. First is Multipurpose, here you will get wifi in your class, AC, and charging slots in every bench. Second is you lecture hall where you won't get wifi and chargingy slots AC are available in most of the rooms there it will be window ac therefore it will not be as good as you think. Lastly labs, here systems, wifi and AC are available. Living spaces are great here, you should consider hostel atleast if you are in your first year. Food is decent and cleaning is done regularly.
I am studying computer science and engineering because in 2021 cse was booming and the placement record was good as per records given by CU. The quality of Teaching is not that good maybe you will have 1 or 2 good teacher. Our curriculum includes nothing that will help you in development. Only programming languages are tought and other core subjects like operating system, database management system, computer networks and data structures. You will have to study these subjects on your own because you won't learn anything helpful in college. And as per being job ready you will have to learn everything on your own.
The quality of placement is decent till now. Company like Morgan stanly, TCS, Accenture, LG Soft, Mahindra tech, Flipkart, and many more companies have visited our college but the worst thing is the shortlisting you won't know why you are not getting shortlisted. I guess 5 percent student are placed till now in our batch, because many companies are going washout. I have seen 3 -4 companies offering packages for than 25 Lakhs for cse students. Average salary being offered is 8-9Lpa. Placement process is easy for most of companies, and yes my college was supportive.
Per year I am paying 1,85,000 Rs which includes tution fees, examination fees and security fees. I feel that if you have scored good in your 10th and 12th like more than 80 percent than it was worth taking admission in this college. But right now fees my course is about 1.5L per sem.
Campus life is quite good here because a lot of events will be conducting where you can participate. Students can engage in tech events, cultural events, fashion events, weight lifting and many more. Students, teachers are decent mostly are people from haryana, punjab and himanchal. College is not is chandigarh like it is potrait. It is near mohali, on Cdg-Ldh Hwy. It is near kharar town. Mostly day scholars are living in kharar only. Emergencies can be handled in our college doctors are available here.
I have listed everything that I could think of other than that I want to mention one thing that campus is divided in two parts south capmus and north campus. South campus is great and it actually looking like a college, its infrastructure is great and cse classes are being conducted in north campus.

Hello,
Yes, you may still be allowed to give the EST (End Semester Test), but it depends on the university's rules regarding attendance and internal exams .
Since you missed both MSTs, you might need special permission from your department or the exam cell. It would be best to contact your professors or the examination department as soon as possible and explain your situation. If medical reasons are valid, they might consider it.
Hope it helps !
Hello
BE and BTech are quite similar in India but there are some differences:
1. Curriculum Focus :
BE (Bachelor of Engineering) : More theoretical and focuses on the core engineering principles.
BTech (Bachelor of Technology) : More application-based, emphasizing practical skills and industry exposure.
2. Syllabus & Approach :
The syllabus of both degrees is about 90% similar.
BTech includes more lab work, internships and hands-on projects , while BE is more focused on theoretical concepts.
3. Institutes Offering :
BE is often awarded by traditional universities.
BTech is commonly provided by technical institutions like IITs, NITs and private engineering colleges.
4. Career Prospects :
Both degrees have equal job opportunities in engineering fields.
Companies do not differentiate much between BE and BTech during recruitment.
BE and BTech are nearly equivalent and Chandigarh University is correct in saying they are the same. However, minor variations exist in syllabus structure and teaching methodology.
Hope this gives you the clarity you need.
