DBRANLU Sonipat admissions are offered to BA LLB (Hons), PGD Corporate Law programmes, LLM and Ph.D programmes. Candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB programme must fulfil the NLU Sonipat eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university and appear for CLAT examination.

NLU Sonipat BA LLB (Hons) Admissions 2025

NLU Sonipat follows the online admission process. Applications for BA LLB admissions are invited by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for CLAT. Candidates who would like to take the NLU Sonipat BA LLB course are advised to select the university from their admission preference list.

• Candidates are required to meet the NLU Sonipat eligibility criteria to apply for the NLU Sonipat courses.

• Eligible candidates need to fill out the CLAT application form and obtain valid scores in CLAT.

• The consortium announces the CLAT result in an online mode, and the same can be checked by candidates by visiting the official website of CLAT.

• CLAT qualified candidates need to participate in CLAT counselling.

• Students need to choose National Law University Sonipat as their preferred college for admissions.

• The seat is allotted to a candidate based on scores obtained in CLAT and preferences. 

• Admission is offered to students based on CLAT UG, counselling, seat allotment, document verification and payment of fees.

NLU Sonipat offers PGD Corporate Law programme of 1-year duration and LLM programme of 2-year duration at postgraduate level.

• Candidates must meet the National Law University Sonipat eligibility criteria and fill out the application form.

• NLU Sonipat PGD admission is based on merit in the previous qualifying examinations while admission to LLM is based on CLAT PG examination.

• Finally, selected candidates can submit the documents for  verification and pay the fees.

NLU Sonipat offers a full-time Ph.D in Law programme at doctoral level. The duration of NLU Sonipat Ph.D programme is 3-years.

• Candidates must meet the NLU Sonepat eligibility criteria and fill out the application form.

• NLU Sonipat Ph.D admission is based on UGC NET/JRF examination.

• Candidates who have not appeared for UGC NET/JRF examination can also appear for Ph.D entrance test conducted by NLU Sonepat.

• Candidates who qualify the minimum scores in the entrance will be called for interview.

• Finally, selected candidates can submit the documents for verification and pay the fees.
