Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities required. There are a lot of sports facilities available. The acad block is well maintained and the classrooms are also very spacious. The hostels are divided into various buildings. The best thing about NLUJ hostels is the single occupancy system of the hostel rooms. From the very first year onwards, a person is allotted a single room which remains same for throughout one's college life i.e., for 5 years.
I am in BBA LLB course. The college has great faculties and every teacher is very knowledgeable. Law is a field wherein one has to stay updated of the current developments all the time. The same is always updated and include all the recent developments. The college also offers various competitions which helps in building CVs and hence, makes you job-ready.
On an average, the national law firms offer packages between 8 to 16 lakhs per annum during their campus placements. Meanwhile, the International Law firms have offered packages between 28 to 30 lakhs per annum.
The Course costs around Rs. 2,46,000 per year which does not include the cost of food. I don't think being a government college, it should charge so much money from its students.
The campus life is very refreshing. One can take part in many sports activities while being on campus. There are 2 major fests of the campus - Yuvardha, sports fest, and NH-65, which is the cultural fest of the college. The campus also celebrates other festivals like Holi, Diwali, Navratra, etc. Every Staff and Faculty is very welcoming. The college is a safe space and can handle emergencies as it has its own hospital ward.
NLUJ has a sprwlawling 55 acre campus that caters all your needs. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with washroom and water coolers on every floor. The mess is undoubtedly the best amongst all NLUs, giving you the option of more than 100 dishes. The drawback of this is that you have to 'Buy' your food daily as the fee doesn't include the mess charges. The classrooms are spacious and air conditioned with good seating. The Library here is amazing having all resources required.
NLUJ has a very hectic schedule and curriculum and in the years to come NLUJ is all set to give tough competition to NLSIU. The teachers here are well qualified and encourage discussions in the class. The curriculum here is as per the contemporary needs of the field and it definitely makes you job ready.
NLUJ has got excellent placements (only if you are hardworking, serious and determined). Last year itself 3 students were offered job at foreign law firms with a starting package of 70 lakhs. The overall placement is pretty decent with an average salary of 14.5 lakhs. The placement and internship committee helps all the students in backing good internships and jobs.
The fee here at NLUJ is pretty high. The semester fee is nearly 1,44,000 which makes the annual fee around 3,00,000 without the mess fee. If you are hardworking, dedicated and ready to learn then studying at such a prestigious and costly iinstitution would be totally worth it.
The campus of NLUJ is amazing. The campus has everything that any student could wish for. The campus provides facilities for many sports such as Volleyball, cricket and badminton to name a few. The campus has wireless access to Internet at the speed of 1Gbps. Campus also has an amphitheatre to showcase all your talents and various committees as well to enhance your personality. The campus life overall is amazing and you won't regret a single second of yours in NLUJ.
The college infrastructure is good with spacious hostels, three messes, gym area, grounds for different sports, and an academic block. The best thing about hostels is that they have single occupancy rooms which means a lot of privacy! The library and the academic block have a constant wifi connection while the hostels have LAN connection.
The quality of faculty is excellent (obviously there are a few exceptions). The teachers are well-versed in their subjects and are able to impart theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The best thing about the college is the Court Room Exercises that are a part of the curriculum itself.
The placements as well as internships opportunities for the students are good. The students get recruited in top firms like Linklaters, Khaitan, Luthra, SAM, Trilegal, CAM, etc. Apart from this various students take up litigation and even take the judiciary exam.
It is absolutely worth the money considering it is one of the top 5 law colleges of the country.
The campus life is fun because of the numerous events that take place throughout the year such as NH-65 and Yuvardha. Although the college is 12 km away from the main city, there are a few places near the college which become the hangout spots for the students.
If you're enrolling in this college, you will surely have an enriching and fun college experience. It can give you the best 5 years of your life!
