Hello aspirant , the Hindu university completes first semester within four months of the admission process. Then a complete month is scheduled for university exams, and the first vacation is of 25 days. Then the second sem has a schedule of three months. Again the exam schedule and the summer vacations lead upto two complete months. I.e junea july

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Tamil Nadu offers degree, diploma, integrated and industry collaborated programmes to aspirants at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level. The programmes offered at the UG and PG levels are majorly in the streams of  Engineering and Architecture.

The other programmes offered at UG and PG level at HITS are:

• UG Level: BBA, BCom, BSc, BCA and B.L.I.S.
• PG Level: MBA, MCA, MA, M.L.I.S, M.Phil, PhD

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses

For admissions to UG programmes at HITS, students should have passed in plus two or equivalent with minimum 50% to 60% aggregate marks, depending on the programme.

Students can obtain admissions to HIT's PG programmes if they have a bachelors degree of minimum three years. The minimum aggregate marks required is 50%.

Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by HITS for the course in which they wish to secure admission.

Admission Process:

Admissions to UG and PG programmes at HITS is based on national level as well as university level exams. However, admissions to some of the programmes is based on merit too. Check details below.

Gitam Vizag is best for CSE rather than Hindustan University. Because gitam is ranked at 84th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India. Where as hindustan is ranked at 95th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India. The NIRF rankings are given based on the no. Faculty, no. Of students passed , placed, Facilities, infrastructure, etc. As the gitam has better ranking than hindustan, Gitam is only best in all Aspects. The tution fee is around 2,72,200/- per year. The hostel fee is around 70,000/- to 80,000/- per year at vizag campus. The hostel fee is Mostly similar for both boys and girls. The labs are well equipped and maintained. The lecturers are well educated and experienced As well as supportive. The academics are best at gitam, Vizag. The highest pay package is around 25-30 lakhs per annum. Ph.D from Hindustan University is a very good option because the teachers or you may say the professor's are really helpful in their own kind. Since now you are going to pursue Ph.D I am already assuming that you have clear NET JRF because further if you want to get a scholarship while doing your Ph.D you need to have cleared the NET JRF and it's now even mandatory also to become a professor in college.

Hindustan University is well known for its B.Tech, M.Tech,  MBA and more recently the PHD programme. While the B.Tech programme is known throughout the nation as a decent one, the M.Tech and PhD ones are still new and require a bit of time to prove their quality. Do join if you don't get into better colleges.

From the information that I have both these institutions have a good reputation. They seem to have good faculty and vibrant placement team. Hence I feel you should get admitted in any of these institutions.

So join it. It's one the best places to study AME. It gives you a proper environment to gain good practical as well as conceptual knowledge. The placement cell is also quite efficient as the placement reports of last few years are good. AME is a good course to take up nowadays as it a growing industry. It has a good developmental scope.
