National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli offers 10 undergraduate programmes. NIT Trichy courses at the UG level include B.Tech and B.Arch. The course duration of NIT Trichy B.Tech courses is 4 years and B.Arch is 5 years. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli offers M.Tech, M.S, M.Sc, M.Arch, M.A and MCA. at the postgraduate level. The duration of NIT Trichy PG courses is 2 years and the duration of the NIT Trichy MCA course is 3 years. NIT Trichy M.Tech eligibility criteria is that candidates should have passed and secured at least  60%  for  OC/OB or  55% in the case of  SC/ST/ PwD candidates from a recognised university/institute.

• First, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for NIT Trichy M.Tech admission and M.Arch admission.

• Candidates for admission to M.S. (by Research) degree programmes must have a B.E./B.Tech degree with 60% or above of aggregate marks or equivalent.
