IIIT Kota All Questions

If you want CSE/IT/ECE, then top IIIT's like IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Delhi, IIIT Bangalore, and IIIT Allahabad are very good in terms of course structure and placements. IIIT Hyderabad is considered to be better than all nits. IIIT A/B/D is also better than almost all NIT's and is growing very rapidly. The campus life at top NIT's is definitely better but academics is considered to be better in IIIT's. Also, the cutoff ranks have been steadily improving for the IIIT's and some NIT's have become less preferred than before.

IIIT B and H don't have reservations at all. IIIT A also does not have a reservation for State people but has a caste-based reservation( Though IIIT D has a reservation for Delhi students). All NIT's have a reservation for students of their state because they are managed by their respective state governments. The Coding culture at IIIT's is usually better than that at NIT's and they don't have to study common subjects which are taught in the first year at IITs or nits.

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that both the colleges are very good and tier-1 colleges and have very good brand name . In my opinion , you can choose NIT agartala because IIIT kota is new so it will take time to grow with these network with time whereas agaratala is old and have very strong network ,experience faculities which is very important . The average package of NIT agartala is around 5lakhs and highest is around 30 lakhs

In comparing all three colleges you mention CSE in Harcourt Butler Technical University is good option.

Because it is one of the old and reupdated university in India.

• HBTU Kanpur is ranked 166 (in 2020) by NIRF while IIIT Kota and IIIT Sonepat has no ranking by NIRF.
• B.Tech CSE course fee at HBTU is INR 5.8 Lakhs while at IIIT, the course fee is INR 8.3 Lakhs.

I terms of placement:
HBTU: The highest salary package offered was around 40 LPA. The average package was around 7.5 LPA, and the lowest package was around 6 LPA.

IIIT Kota: The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered goes up to 5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 7.5LPA.

IIIT Sonepat: The highest CTC offered during IIIT Sonepat  placements was around Rs 40 LPA and the average CTC was recorded to be around 7 LPA.

In between top NIT with any lower branch or any IIIT with CSE , totally depends on you what you choose. The feild you want to persue totally depends on your interest and skills. If you don't have any particular matter of interest then CSE is reliable. You can also choose some of decent NIT with CSE or ECE. This does not include Hostel Fees, which is separate.

Here is a quick review for IIIT Kota:

Maximum package is 43 LPA in CSE, with 10.06 LPA average package and 95.65% percent students were placed.

IIIT Kota is mentored by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. The Training and Placement (TAP) Cell of the institute facilitates industrial training, on-campus placement drive and internship for the students. Information regarding interview dates, selection procedure and job offers is announced by the TAP Cell from time to time. Around 200 companies visit the campus for placements every year.

Some of the major recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Cvent, MAQ Software, etc.

You need to compare this data along with any other NIT that is your alternative and decide which one is better for you.

As of now IIIT Kota is functioning from Campus of MNIT Jaipur. In 2013, the land was alloted for campus of IIIT Kota. But the campus is still is in construction. Last year , the state government released funds for the construction of IIIT Campus. The Campus is expected to be functional in next few years. However, it is not sure when exactly the campus will be ready and it may also got delayed further.

First of all, you have to decide that you want to go for the institute or you want to go for the stream. If you want to study in IIT then you should go for CSE in that case your preference should be Bhubaneswar>Kottawayam>Sri city

If you want to go for stream then your preference should be ECE at NIT PATNA.
