IIIT Kota Admission Process

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D programmes. IIIT Kota B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main examination. While IIIT Kota admission to Ph.D course is done based on a written test and interview process.

Whereas IIIT Kota admission into M.E/M.Tech is done based on GATE scores acquired by the students followed by CCMT counselling. Candidates must meet the IIIT Kota academic eligibility criteria before applying for admissions.

IIIT Kota Registrations 2025

B.Tech	IIIT Kota B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main examination. Candidates must apply for JoSAA/CSAB counselling for admission. Candidates who score eligible marks will get a notification from the institute. Candidates must pay the academic fees for final admission.
M.Tech	Candidates must appear for GATE examination for IIIT Kota M.Tech admissions. Apply for CCMT counselling. Selected candidates will get a call from the institute. Pay the final academic fees for admission.
Ph.D	Candidates must be eligible for IIIT Kota Ph.D admissions. Appear for the eligible entrance examination. Apply for the admissions through an online application form from the institute's website. Selected candidates will be called by the institute.

IIIT Kota UG admission is offered for the 4-year BE course. All the IIIT Kota UG admission aspirants are given admission into the courses based on the eligibility norms.

IIIT Kota B.Tech Admission Process 2025

Aspirants should appear for JEE Main.
Candidates should score at least minimum eligible score in the entrance exams.
Candidates meeting the IIIT Kota cutoff are shortlisted on merit.
Shortlisted students are advised to appear for the JoSAA counselling process.
Aspirants are advised to give a choice of preference as IIIT Kota during counselling process for seat allocation.
Based on the student's performance in the counselling process seats are allotted.
Seats are allotted through the central seat allocation board(CSAB).

IIIT Kota M.Tech Admission 2025

Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication, and Information Technology are the different areas of study in which the IIIT Kota PG admission 2024 is offered. Aspirants are advised to meet the prerequisites as prescribed by the institute. IIIT Kota admission into PG programme is offered full-time for a duration of two years.

IIIT Kota CCMT Counselling 2024

The CCMT counselling seat allotment round 2 result for admission to M.Tech programmes has been released by the NIT Surat on June 24, 2024. To check their result candidates need to visit the ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to use their GATE registration id and password to know their seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit the documents for verification and pay the registration fees.

IIIT Kota Ph.D Admission 2025

Candidates interested in research courses are offered at the institute. Aspirants are offered doctoral courses in varied disciplines of study. IIIT Kota Ph.D. course is offered full-time for a duration of 6-years.

academic status of this college is poor. many teacher is not able to clear the students doubt even some of teachers dont know that concept properly that they want to teach the students.students use video lactures on the internet to learn any concept.

I got 97.67 percentile in jee mains 2022 open category student should I prefer nit Warangal civil or IIIT Kota CSE??

See, this type of question totally depends on what you have to do in future. If you want to go for let's say an MBA or something which is not concerned by engineering, then you should join NIT Warangal as it is a big brand name to be proud of. However, if you want to strictly live in the Computer Science field, then I'll suggest you to go for IIIT Kota as IIITs in general do a good job in training you for that.

So, decide and then choose.

What is the minimum percentile for ECE in IIIT Kota if I belong to OBC category?

Hello,

Last year a candidate with rank 11724 belonging to OBC-NCL category secured admission to Electronics and Communication Engineering in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan. This was the cut off in JoSAA round 6 counselling. Considering the cut off you need to secure a rank around 11000 (OBC-NCL) to have decent chances of getting seat. It is quite difficult to predict the exact percentile to get admission in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan in the preferred course. If you secure 95-97 percentile in JEE Main then you may have decent chances to get seat in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)Kota, Rajasthan in the preferred course. To secure such percentile you need to score minimum 130-190 marks in JEE Main. But this is an estimated score the actual percentile and rank may vary after the result.
