IIM Amritsar Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

The college is one of the growing IIMs & has to build it's own legacy over a certain period. The college is currently has a temporary campus where most of the facilities are up to the mark including classrooms, playgrounds, equipments etc. Though the parmanent campus will be operational very soon.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is very good. The college has 3-4 type of program such as MBA Core, MBA HR, MBA BA & EMBA etc. I'm here studying their flagship program of MBA core. In second year there is opportunity to select electives as well & students can get their desired subjects from a huge pool of subjects according to their previous performance (CGPA) through bidding.

In the placement the college is trying to do it's best. Every year many new recruiters visit the college including the previous existing recruiters. The student pool is also very diverse which actually satisfies the demand of different companies coming with various roles. So, the placement is very good but still improvement can be made.

This is a college with a lot of reputation in Punjab as the state doesn't have that many good institute with infrastructure like this. The college is right now situated in Amritsar & operating from a govt polytechnic college campus with all the basic facilities available. The permanent campus would likely to be operational anytime soon.

Academics in IIM Amritsar is one of the best. The college has a detailed course curriculum for different domains students (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Analytics & Operations). From 2nd year the subject choices are vast. Students get ample opportunity to learn through the subjects & in class activities.

The college has set a different level when it comes to placements. It is in the top tier of the baby IIMs & with the existing recruiters, many new recruiters visit the college every year. The placement process is very much transparent as well.

College infrastructure of IIM Amritsar is decent despite not having permanent campus. The college is is currently in it's 9th year & about to move to permanent campus in any time soon. The Classrooms, Grounds, library everything is good enough.

Academics is top class here. The students are from very diverse backgrounds which helps having good discussions during classes apart from teacher's inputs. The courses are quite flexible & designed keeping in mind the industry requirements.

The placement of the college is very good from the perspective of a baby IIM. The college is trying it's best every year to place their students & touching the 100% placements. The placement committee is really dedicated & does their best with a well designed placement process.

This one of finest baby IIMs and the college is growing really at a fast pace. The infrastructure level is good & students do get ample opportunity to learn here. The different play grounds, library, smart classrooms, big auditorium etc is present in the campus. The new campus would be ready by the next year.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is top notch. The professors are holding higher degrees from various top institutes. Their experience help students to get necessary industry knowledge. The peer learning opportunities are also very good here as the batch profile is well diverse in terms of experience & gender diversity.

Placement of IIM Amritsar is very good. This time the industry is witnessing an unprecedented downturn but despite that the college is doing pretty good in placements. Many recruiters are coming to the campus and hiring process is going quite well.

IIM Amritsar is one of the best baby IIM as per the recent student pool & the kind of facilities the college provides. The college is currently operating from a temporary campus near by the GNDU in govt polytechnic college. With good classrooms, auditorium & library, the college also has different playing grounds.

The academics of this college is quite good & well structured. The college has a good combination of permanent and visiting facilities to provide students a holistic study opportunity. The courses of MBA Core, MBA BA, & MBA HR are quite well designed with proper subjects combination.

Placement of the college is quite good among all the baby IIMs. The kind of placement process is conducted here is very streamlined & well planned. The placement committee & placement chair takes good initiative to place the entire batch. Last year the average package was 16.51 lpa and median was 16 lpa.

Indian institute of Management, Amritsar is one of premier institute of business studies. Among the emerging new IIMs these college is also growing really fast & the currently it is operational from the temporary campus where basic facilities are there. But the permanent campus will be required for the students to meet their basic demands.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is one of the best. The curriculum is designed in a manner where students get the desired knowledge through the subjects. The faculty is quite impressive is their teaching skills. The students get the benefit of such well structured academics.

Placements of IIM Amritsar pretty nice as it is one of the growing IIMs. The college has developed a structured placement process over the years & this year onward they have started with Placement week. So, overall IIM Amritsar doing really well in placements.

This college is one of the fastest growing IIMs. The college has given most of the basic facilities like classroom, ground, library etc to it's students but not maintaining the IIM standards. So, it needs upgradation as students deserve better service after paying 15 to 17 lakhs fees.

Academics in IIM Amritsar is quite well structured as the both the permanent & visiting facilities are highly qualified and experienced. I'm in the core program & in my curriculum courses are very much industry relevant.

Placement of IIM Amritsar is quite streamlined process. The college stays very much dedicated to place the entire batch during the Placement season whether it's finals or summers. The Placement committee & the Placement chair support the students throughout this process.

Without permanent campus the campus life isn't that entertaining but hopefully by this year end, campus life can be observed from the permanent campus.

The college is currently operating from a temporary campus situated nearby the GNDU, in Govt polytechnic college. It has lesser no of classrooms & library also doesn't have sufficient place to accommodate all the people. When the permanent campus would be operational, this things hopefully will be addressed.

IIM Amritsar is known for it's academics rigor. The quality and the content of courses are really very good while maintaining the industry relevance. Students do get the access of various premium services like Grammerly, Statista etc. Professors are equipped with knowledge & experience.

Placement in this college is decent. The placement committee work really hard to bring new companies every year with exciting roles & opportunities. The students also work for better placement & participate in various case competitions. So, overall nice placement process.

IIM Amritsar as a baby iim is growing really fast but till date the college is not able to provide a permanent campus to the students which is very disappointing. Students have to avail buses everyday to attend classes & that becomes really hectic.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is quite top notch. The courses are designed in HR while keeping in mind the current practices in the industry. The professors are experienced and qualified, so no complaint form that side either.

Overall Placement is decent but specifically for HR domain it isn't that good. Students have to stay a little longer during pavement session to get placed. Though the placement committee tries their best to place every student in time.

The college doesn't have it's own campus. So in the temporary campus of the polytechnic college, the college doesn't have good classrooms, proper clean bathrooms etc. But some of the necessary amenities are provided though it needs improvement.

Academics of this college is really good. I'm studying MBA core here and I have taken general management in the 2nd year. So, the teaching quality is really good with highly qualified facilities. The curriculum is not that updated but it's getting improved every year.

Placements are not that good as it should be in an IIM. But as a new college it is trying very hard to bring companies like other emerging IIMs are trying to do. Also, the gender ratio & the workex - freshers ratio isn't stable which affects the placement to some extent.
