Thank you!

Work experience gives you the weight age along with MBA entrance score to get selection in any reputed college or IIM but if you have not then try to score well in exams. Your performance play an important role in all the selection rounds how you represent yourself.

Hope this helps!

Hello

See, your college name does not hold any key but as you have got 90+ in both 10th and 12th so it can be a boost.

It depends upon the weightage given to 10th and 12th. It may be around 5 to 7%.

See, last year my friend got 99.6 percentile but still he was rejected by IIM A , B and C even Kozikode also because he just destroyed his GD and PI.

So do not think much just give your exam on 24th Nov.

Hello,

Well you may get call form low IIMs but the good new is that you will get the call.Though this not means that you might get admission in one of them.I am worried because your past academics are not much impressive though they are good but IIMs low for best and that what make the difference because there are lot of aspirants who can score a good percentile but not much make it to the IIMs

I hope this helps.

Eligibility Criteria is having passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline.Candidates have to appear for entrance test, accordingly merit list will be prepared based on their performances as well as reservation status in each course and further personal interview/group discussion will be conducted.

To get the detailed information regarding this, consider going through the following link-

At the moment, IIMC does not provide any UG courses. You need to be at least a graduate to take admission in IIMC.

IIMC is probably the best Institute in India. But Xavier's Institute of Communication and Asian School of Journalism are also not far behind and in fact are famous for its facilities, infrastructure and overall training

Hello Sonam V !

Based on this score you can get a call from IIMs like IIM Nagpur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Amritsar, IIM Jammu etc. The other chances you can have for the colleges DoMS, IIT Roorkee, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, BIM Trichy, Goa Institute of Management, Goa etc. You can check your other best possibilities with CAT Pathfinder Tool.

Along with CAT score all the colleges you apply make a merit list to call the students for the second round of interview and WSAT on the basis of your aggregate score and which is based on different parameters such as CAT marks, 10th, 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non-engineer, gender etc. whose weightage vary according to different colleges.

Good Luck!

Feel free to  ask further.

Hello Mamleshwar,

Well, you have to score at least 99 Percentile and would be better if it goes much above like 99.4 or around 99.5 Percentile to get a call from a high reputed IIM. Because your acdemics are nit upto the mark, its just average scoring. So, to compromise your result you must have to score very good.

Yeah, a less better college can call you based on your percentile if it is low but still you have to be above 90.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck!

Thank you.

Hi Aspirant,

Your marks are just average for getting you into top b-school. But since you are an sc candidate therefore there might be a chance that you get a call from top b-schools in india if you get a percentile more than 90 percentile. Also just getting the required percentile will not help you also need to clear sectional cut off and other rounds of admission. So you must start working hard and prepare yourself to get into top B-school of India.

All the best
