CAT 2024 result was released on December 19, 2024.
IIM Sirmaur concluded Mastering Leadership: Art of Connecting and Assertiveness programme on January 2, 2024.
The permanent campus of the institute is still in making, so we are studying in temporary campus, but still the institute provide all the necessary facilities. The classroom's infrastructure is good, has separate space for every sport, library is well equipped and best in class hostel and mess food.
I am pursuing MBA as part of my pg program. The course is very practical, for it to be used in management career and making a student job-ready. the curriculum continuously gets updated according to the requirement of current market condition.
Being a prestigious institute with a tag of IIM, the Return on Investment is quite good for a new institute, the highest salary offerred in 2023 was 64 lpa and the average salary of the institute is 14-15 lpa
Being a baby IIM it does not have a permanent campus it is still running in a temporary one so it lags in infrastructure but the basic facilities are good and well maintained be it classrooms, libraries or hostels.
I'm a first year MBA student in IIM Sirmaur and the quality of teaching is really good all the professors are well learned and their way of transferring knowledge is really good even the curriculum is updated.
The placements are good but being a baby IIM without a permanent campus it lags behind the rest of the IIMs but in the recent year there has been a lot of improvement in the average package and the placement committee is working really good.
The total fee for the course is 16 lakhs and I feel that it is value for money given the peer to peer learning I'm getting here, the world class facilities and the exposure I'm getting Is helping me evolve as a better individual.
The campus is really living one some or the other activities keep happening here. From guest lectures to flash mobs and various cultural events the students are involved in some or other activities. The location is a disadvantage as the connectivity is not that good
College has all the necessary infrastructure which are very well maintained. We have a Bloomberg terminal, library with a lot of educational and non fiction books, computer labs, etc. The college also provides a fast WiFi 24x7. Apart from this, college also a well maintained gym and sports room. These are all the attributes of just the temporary campus, permanent campus is going to have even more amenities from recreational and educational pov
the curriculum of each an every course and elective is very forward looking. We get real life insights of all the theory that has been taught by the professors. The courses definitely make us job-ready.
Quality of placements is at par. Placement percentage is 100%. IIM Sirmaur has a good reputation in the field of marketing, however we also get very good organisations offering a good CTC, in other domains like HR and Finance
Our average placement is around 15 and the fees we paid was 13, based on the numbers I feel is a good investment. Apart from this the campus life makes it all worth it
Institute has various clubs and committees on campus. A lot of events are organized by those committees be it fun or educational. The life here is very wholesome and teachers are super approachable

we have all the necessary stuff but we are running in the temporary campus but the new campus is going to build within a year. we have a big library and have all the books available also all the necessary stuff are there in the campus like the proper sports center and hostel etc. the hostel rooms are very clean and food is hygienic enough and have wifi in the campus and in the hostel. All the things are well maintained. the hostels are clean everyday with proper cleaning facility.
so i am the student of Master of business administration at indian institute of management sirmaur. i am in the batch of 2025. The curriculum was up to date as our collage is mentored by Indian institue of management Lucknow
the placement is good. but this year the companies is not much hiring so it will impact the placement at our collage. their is 100% placement to all the student. the highest package of 64 lakhs which is given to two student with each 64 lakhs.
studying in the indian institute of management sirmaur is quite expensive like we have nearly spent 20 lakhs in the two years. the as we know MBA is done only once in a time in whole life so it is worth investing
as we are residing in the old campus the campus life is not what i have expected but yahh because of the diversity we used to celebrate all the event in our campus with proper rituals. all students are happy and satisfied
Right now the college is in its temporary campus and is planning to shift in the permanent campus in December 2023, the college temporary campus is also very good, it has all the amenities which any premier Institute would have.
The quality of academics is very good. Almost all the teachers are phd, there are also guest lecturers who come from premier institutes of the country. And the curriculum is the same as the curriculum which is followed in any top b school in india
The market is quite slow this season which has affected our college too, but the placement committee is trying their best to meet expectations of the students, there are good companies which are coming for internships too. Fingers crossed.
The
The institute is still working on its temporary campus with new campus to be ready by end of this year. But, with status of temporary campus, the infrastructure is good to go. All the classrooms are equipped with digital infrastructure, library with all required aesthetics and hostels with double occupancy(in temporary campus only)
The academics are taken very seriously and all necessary material is made available for the students and curriculum involves many aspects of real life experiences. Case pedagogy is followed which revolve around real problems of institutions.
Being a baby IIM, the placements stand at par. Previous year, 100% batch was placed with highest placement of 64LPA and average of 13LPA for MBA Core. The placement process go smooth and college is supportive with process unlike place com.
The core program at IIM Sirmaur cost 16 lakhs for 2 years. The cost seems more considering the current infra and admin facilities we get but hopefully it tend to improve as we move to new campus.
The best features of the campus is its greenery and location which stands between the mountains of Himachal pradesh. The students involve in activities organized by various clubs and committees and also engage in rigorous recruitment process of committees.
infrastructure is good and equipment and facilities are also good but they are not so well-maintained and are not taken care of properly. food here is not hygienic and does not tastes good. Living spaces are cleaned regularly here.
I am studying MBA here and studies here are not good and what I expected them to be, but teachers here are good and the quality of education is also good. Curriculum is not updated regularly including recent developments.
Placements are very less and low salary paying companies come here. quality of placement is average and the placement process is sometimes easy but complex sometimes and it has been pleasant for me. college is supportive.
The infrastructure of the college is not yet permanent but has all the well equipped classes, staff rooms, gym, sports room and computer lab. The labs and libraries are well maintained and are hygienic.
Currently I am studying MBA because it has a brand value as the name consists IIM. And the quality of teaching is good and upgrading day by day. Yes, the curriculum is updated and the the study is helping me getting the exposure to the real world market situations.
The placements of the college is average as compared to the other IIMs but it is on developing stage and the placement team is putting great efforts to bring the best placements and placing 100% batch.
My course cost 1600000 for two years. As the brand value of IIM is high and so as the cost but it is worth it and it provide quality education and great exposure to the real world situations and how to deal with it.
The campus life is good and there is hostel also inside the campus. Also there is gym, sports room, as well as cycles for the students. The students and staff is also so supportive. Also the location of the college is good and all the facilities are available their.
Overall experience was good
College Infrastructure is quite good for a temporary campus. All the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment are provided. There are projectors in every classroom, and required sports and gym equipments are also provided by the college.
I am currently pursuing my M.B.A. and it has been 4 months since I started, and the quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field and the things we are learning here contribute to our characters and make us job-ready.
The college was established in 2015, so for a newly established college, the college placement is good, and every student gets placed. The average package for 2023 was INR 14.45 LPA, and the highest package stood at INR 64.12 LPA. The placement process is easy and pleasant.
The course cost is INR 16 Lakh for two years plus mess fees. There are times when I feel like I'm getting my money's worth and times when I don't. One reason can be food, sometimes it's good sometimes it's not.
The worst feature of the college campus can be that it's a temporary campus, and the best feature can be the hostels. Apart from studies, students can engage in sports activities, hang out with friends, and much more. The location is safe, and there is an ambulance and a dispensary on the campus in case of emergency.
As currently we are in a temporary campus so our facilities are not as great as other IIMs but it is sufficient and to the point. All the needs of students starting from Gym, Library, Computer Lab, cultural ground and sports ground ar taken care of. The living spaces are clean and well maintained, but the washrooms are very outdated and need a major infrastructure facelift.
This is an IIM college so I am pursuing an MBA degree here. The teaching standard here is excellent as students come from various diverse backgrounds so instructors make sure all of them understand the concepts very well. It is okayn to ask even the silliest of doubt as long as your concept is cleared nothing else matters. As for the part of the curriculum I would say that it is up to date and we have coding and excel related courses in our first term that would help us increase our skill set.
As far as Final placements are concerned they are really excellent. Top companies finance companies like ICICI, Ernst & Young, DE Shaw & Co. etc come recruiting at least 20 students. For this our college has a 100% placement rate, the highest salary package being offered is 26 lpa. The average salary offered here is 15 lpa. Although I would say getting an SIP is quite difficult here even if you have a good CV.
Well as we are in a temporary campus and it has been quite difficult for students with a good CV to get a SIP so I would say I am not very sure whether it is Value for money. Our course costs about Rs8,00,000 per year.
Well about Campus life I would say it all depends on how much free time you would get. As you know that MBA is a very rigorous and hectic course so most of the time we remain occupied in some work or other. So when we get free time either we spent it at the cafeteria socialising or playing cricket. Sometimes hanging out with our friends in cultural grounds.
