Comparision of Higher Institutions is not such a good thing as each institution has it's prime importance but coming to placements & researches only we can do a comparision as you have asked about two institutions which are performing well in both areas but you can go with JNTUH CSE if you have programming skills well and your passion is with Software employee or if you want to earn more money with your better skill then choose IITH as Civil with best palns you execute you will have better opportunities

It's difficult to predict the exact marks, as cut-off changes every year. It depends upon a lot of factors such as the exam pattern, the number of students appeared, the number of students qualified, the highest score,  whether you belong to any category or not. Cut-off changes from state to state.

However, IIT Hyderabad has no reservations. So you need to score above 90% to get admission in iit Hyderabad.

Both the branches are good at its place and we aren't the one who should make choice for the branches you choose as it should be solely depends on your interest because you have to study the branch you choose.

Coming to the IIT's both the IIT are reputed college's and the do have good placement opportunity but apart from this IIT kharagpur has good placements with high packages ranging upto 60 lakh per annum and the average package 15lakh per annum.

You are getting CSE in IIT Roopar. See there is nothing like chance reduced due to choice filling or preference order. When you have locked your choices and when seat allocation process begin then your first priority is considered the best for you and if your rank is sufficient for it you will be allocated the same. And if in case your rank is not sufficient then your second priority is considered and then your third and the process continues. Although it dpeends on your area of interest, I would suggest you to ahead with CSE because it has a greater scope than Civil unless you wish to join government jobs.

you will find that CSE placement is almost 100% while that of Civil is around 60%.

Also the median package is around 6lpa which is geniunely good.

IIT Bhubaneshwar is better in campus as compare to IIT Hyderabad. But the placements are better in IIT Hyderabad.  IIT Hyderabad is the best among the new IITs in India.

The choose over the branch must be according to your area of interest. If you are interested in  CSE go for it otherwise choose Mathematics and Computing .

Both the branches are good in terms of placement. But computer science has a bit more package than Electrical Engineering . Choose a branch totally depends upon your area of interest. If you are not good at coding stuff, don't go for CS over ECE.
