IGNOU is conducitng NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme from November 25 to December 4, 2024.
This college has a very beautiful infrastructure according to me. With different four departments , classrooms have projectors and library is of 3 floors with different facility provided on each floor . Every thing is well maintained there.
Overall very good college in terms of academic. All the staffs are very cooperative and well educated. computer science department is also very good. This college is very special in terms of academic due to less crowded for election campaigns.
Ultimate placement this college have and the college is tied up with the best and top most business and the organisations in the world the placement is only think to be the student want most wonderful best College. Placement process is also easy.
Good infrastructure with good regional centre located nearby public transport facilities like delhi and noida metro and dtc buses. The classrooms for conducting examination were very well furnished and equipped with latest technologies of projector and screen.
The course curriculum is very well made and very well executed by the professors. The study material is provided both in hard copy as well as in form of e-material. Professors provide real time feedback.
Placements are below average as it is a centre for distance learning. The placement cell is ok ok only it could do better. The counselling team is also not good, not enough information is provided about placements and student.
1. IGNOU is known for its distance education programs the condition of infrastructure ,facilities and equipment might vary across different study center and campus. 2. Library facilities are both physical and digital for there student. 3. Not directly manage living space and food hygienic as its depend on different study center and campus
1. I complete my BSCG graduation from IGNOU. Because of so family issue I go with distance education. while at the practical session the teacher give there best to tech us. 2 As per the Bsc general the curriculum was updated.
1. Its a distance education so didn't know more about the placements 2. don't know about the highest package that offer at IGNOU. 3. Don't know about the salary and process of placement at IGNOU. and corresponding Rigional center not give reply on mails so they not supportive.
1.Its cost 4200 per year and 200 exam fees for each subject. 2. yes. Because with job I complete my graduation.
1. don't have a campus life. 2. student and teachers are supportive at my study center. My study center is near by to my home so its safe .
As I only attains the practical programs at my study center there staff and teacher are very much supportive they understand what the student needs. The practical programs of IGNOU is best as per my point of view.
Ignou provide us choice to choose the college, my college building is very nice and well maintained. Classrooms looks old but has smart boards to study. No hostel facilities in IGNOU. Library is Well-equipped with many knowledgeable books. No wifi facilities available inside the college. Canteen food is hygienic and affordable.
Currently I am doing MA in mass communication because I wanted to make my career in journalism field. In ignou you don't have to go to college so no teaching involves. But teachers help us over a phone. Curriculum is average and made for more theoritical purposes. You have to gain more skills to be job ready.
No placements has been given by IGNOU till now but they have placements cell portals to apply for internships and seminars outside the college. Students get jobs from outside placements and they can easily grab the job with average salary 3-4LPA. IGNOU provides internships with stipend of 10k per month which is quite good to gain skills.
Though the college offers distance learning programs but it do provides all the facilities required to complete the course. As in my case, it doesn't provides all the materials for practicals and thesis for help for files.
Since the college offers various courses, its a thumbs up. I studied psychology and the way of teaching was incredible that had built more excitement in me to learn about the course. Curriculum is definitely upto date.
Not sure, as unaware of this field whether it offers placements or not. But I do receive multiple contact from people studying with me, letting me know about the vacancies of the course I am studying in.
The course was totally worth it. It was only 6-7k per year that it not much for a year as compared to other colleges. Although the cost depends on courses you want to opt in but still it is economic from others.
The regional center is so big that when one wants to go to their department, they have to go through bus. That's why they had study centres in different regions which make it easier to communicate. No issues faced later.
Not applicable
IGNOU gives me a regional centre which is also a study centre. The infrastructure of my regional centre is great. There are large classrooms, wifi facility. The spaces there is very clean. There is also space for parking vehicles.
I am studing Diploma in Women's Empowerment and Development. This course is of 1 year. I am also a final year student of B.Sc Botany Hons. I am doing this course because I want to gain knowledge in other field also. One of my teacher suggests me this. It is important to gain knowledge in everything, not only in your related course. It also gives you other career option. Read books given by IGNOU, their books contain all information and are updated.
In IGNOU placements opportunity given to students are not good. You can go to its website and can register yourself for job opportunities. But there is very less chances get a job. They will email you whenever placement comes on your given email ID.
Course fee- Rs 3,600 for one year, this is a 1 year course. I am gaining knowledge, so worth the money.
It is in Mithapur, Patna. Safe. It is located in good area.
IGNOU have many number of regional centres and study centres across India. My regional centre intrastructure is good. It is not that very large buldings but it has sufficient number of classrooms. And all spaces like classrooms, offices all are neat and clean.
I was a B.Com student here and completed my course in year 2019. IGNOU provides study materials in book form and sent these books to your submitted address. Their books are of very good quality. There is also another option for you to chose i.e PDF form, it depends on you whether you want in book form or PDF form. If you chose for PDF form you will receive 15% discount.
Placement is not provided here. But it's degree has a great value. You have to apply for the job outside means off-campus. Companies will give value to IGNOU degree. One of my friend got a job of 2.8 lakh in a bank by applying herself.
My B.Com course fee per year is Rs.4,400/- which is affordable and worth it.
As it is a distance course you don't have a campus life.
The facilities are first-rate. It is an A+ rated university by the NAAC. Every facility is contingent upon the kind of college you select for the study centre upon admission. In my study centre, there is Wi-Fi provided across the campus. This college does not have a hostel because IGNOU offers distance learning.
IGNOU is where I chose to pursue my B.Sc. since I want to finish my degree without having to give up my day job. Every teacher is highly competent and helpful. The course curriculum is pertinent and up to date.
Since it was a correspondence course, the students' practical development was given extra attention. While there may be more assistance with placements, overall student involvement with the course is strong. Such a high position is not provided by this course.
My B.Sc. course fee is approximately 18,000–19,000 rupees, which also covers the cost of study materials. During semester registration, the examination and practical fee must be paid separately.
The University has all the necessary equipments, has proper infrastructure, facilities and all. The University has proper number of classrooms, one library for students with decent number of books. The overall University campus is clean.
I am pursuing BA English Major. The actual reason of mine opting this course is my keen interest in English subject. The course syllabus is vast and almost covers all the important topics in English literature. This course will surely make its students knowledgeable.
The placements quality is very poor of our University, saying factually. I don’t think this is an exclusive problem with this particular open university but a common problem for most of the open universities nationwide.
The course costs ₹6000 (approximately) for one year. The course is worthy for its fees.
As this is an open course of mine, my campus life simply does not exist. But yeah it has a good campus. The staffs (overall) are good and supports the students.
The University has all the necessary facilities required, it has classrooms, library, among other facilities. The classrooms are decent sized, equipped with necessary facilities. The classrooms are well maintained. Throughout the campus, neatness and cleanliness prevails.
I am studying B.Sc General in backup. The curriculum of IGNOU has been all inclusive. And our curriculum is updated one and also includes all the recent updates made in its field. It is properly designed in a way that it makes its student job-ready also, if it is the requirement of the student.
The placements are not even up to mark in my opinion and limited knowledge. Almost negligible percentage of students gets placed, even if placements takes place. Talking about the highest and average package, I don't have any data regarding these.
The course fees per year is near around Rs. 6000. Also, I feel it is worth the fees to complete the course from here.
I am not going to college, so I can say that my campus life is almost negligible.
