UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hello,
The admission is done based on rank in MHTCET. But the cutoff for ICT is higher every year. You won't get admission on 80 marks.
You need to score at least 140 and above to get a seat in this college.
Your percentile range must be 98-99+ in CET.
So you need to try to score in this range to get into this college.
Hope this will help, All the best.!!
Hello,
As you are talking about SASTRA UNIVERSITY then obviously it is your AIR rank which is 1200. So in that case sastra university offers you the streams like ICT, CIVIL, BIOTECHNOLOGY, ECE, CHEMICAL and some integrated courses.
CSBS is a new course but sastra does not offer that one.

Hello,
The marks and the rank which you have mentioned is quite good but as you know that CSE is one of the leading Engineering in terms of future scope and many other factors hence it makes the competition to high for getting this particular bracket in any good colleges but as you have already calculated your rank which is very good hence, you can easily compare it with the different colleges of your interest but making it more simple you can use the below given link from where you can get the name of colleges where you have chance of getting admission on the basis of your rank, so the link is:

Dear aspirant,
As far as my knowledge and view for this college is concerned I would suggest you to take IT branch rather than ict because in these type of private colleges it won't be beneficial for you to take up lower branches.
In terms of placements it branch has a better average package and it is around 6-7L as compared to the ict branch. The faculty for both the branches are very helpful and supportive.

Dear Prathamesh,
Since you have not mentioned I am assuming you to be from general category. 38 percentile means a ranking between 634000 to 710000. With this ranking you have no chance of admission in Ict college Mumbai.
You can attempt the 2nd and 3rd round of jee to increase your ranking and be eligible for good colleges. You can use our jee examination course to prepare yourself with expertized and curated topics along with vast practice question and solutions, kindly refer the link below:
You can also check the detailed eligibility criteria and previous year trends of ICT college Mumbai in the link below:

Hi aspirant,
The 3 fields mentioned by you has ample opportunities and if you come under the top 5 percentiles of your college, you'll always have enormous scope irrespective of the field. So my advice will be, choose the field that inspires you.
However, if you're unsure about your calling and are looking for a field that has more scope in general, my advice will be to go for ICT.
To answer your second pointer, more details will be required (like colleges in which region, private / government, preferable fee structure, etc.)
Again, if you want a generic answer, you can refer to the following link.
Dear aspirant,
If you are planning to go through mhcet entrance then it is not possible to predict because these things depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut off, difficulty level of the examination.
But if you will be going through jee mains then you need to score atleast 98.5+ to be on a safer for ict Mumbai. However dynamics can be changed According to the above mentioned factors.
