VNIT Nagpur Admission Process

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur offers admissions at three levels of programmes which include UG, PG and doctoral levels. VNIT Nagpur admissions are offered for B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D programmes. VNIT Nagpur B.Tech/B.Arch admission is based on the JEE Main score, which is then followed by JoSAA counselling.

Admission to the M.Sc programme at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur is based on the JAM score, followed by participation in the CCMN counselling process. VNIT Nagpur Ph.D admission is based on previous academic records, a written examination, and a personal interview conducted by the respective department. The course is good and still relevant but is hectic; a lot of assignments are given for each subject. Talking about the semester exams, there are two semester exams: mid-semester and end-semester, which are like JEE level. The pass percentage depends upon the class average.

Having a rank of approx 41000 and considering you belong to the OBC-NCL category with Maharashtra as your home state, you have a good chance of securing admission in the CSE branch at some IIITs and VNIT (Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology) through the home state quota.

You may consider these colleges:
