ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hey aspirant,
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) is one of the top universities in India, with a NIRF ranking of 86 for engineering in IPU. The college has a good campus and infrastructure with experienced faculty. Placement is fair, with MNCs hiring students who are offered average package of Rs 8 lakh per annum. Placement record is about 80% for engineering students.
The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) is a deemed university in Jaipur with a big campus and good infrastructure and facilities. Placements are good with companies like Adobe, Samsung, OYO hiring students with average package of Rs 10.5 lakhs, with 90% students getting placed.
If you want a college with good faculty and more reputation, then you should choose IPU, since it is one of the top ranked colleges. If placements are more important to you, then you can go for LNMIIT.
Hope it helps.
Hi there,
Both the college are good, but lnmiit gets an upper edge as compares to thapar. Lnmiit jaipur has better placement records than thapar engineering college
. It's faculty and alumni base is also stronger as compared to thapar. Although the campus is quite similar but lnmiit has more career opportunities than thapar. The cut offs are also high for lnmiit.

Hello Student,
A rank of 1,06,562 in CRL is a low of a rank. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately you might not be able to get a seat in LNMIIT.
Even if the chance is there, yo might be getting civil engineering or chemical engineering branches in 3rd round of counselling or so.
However, since you have not mentioned any reservations or quotas, the chances of you getting intointo this university are a bit on the higher side if you have any reservation. Computer Science Engineering is a course that is very much in demand and much sought after course and the chances are very low. There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities.
Some other good universities would be:
1. SSN College of Engineering, Chennai
2. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur
3. Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh
4. Delhi University
5. Shiv Nadar University
6. VIT, Vellore
7. Manipal Institute of Technology

Infrastructure is good I would say, I have seen couple colleges in Jaipur and compared to that it is quite good. Mess food is good aswell. We have a gym, 2 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, football and cricket ground, etc. Swimming pool would have been good but unfortunate their isn't a pool as of now.
College infrastructure is kinda good and i would say its perfect as you dont have to travel a lot to get from one point to another, all the important places are kinda near just in about 300 meters at max.
Infrastructure is great. Management is very much focused on improving academic environment. In the academic area, library, everything is like top-notch but for hostels, canteen and other area it's really bad. Hostels might feel good but canteen is very bad.
