The cut off last year for the open category was 108281 rank for the electrical engineering branch. The opening rank for the mechanical engineering branch was 34979 rank and closing rank was 95621 rank.

Congratulations on your seat allotment, Now as you have asked for waiting of next allotment to get CS so i must suggest you that if you are so sure that you can secure a seat in your next allotment then and only then you could wait otherwise you could stay for what you get. The choice is yours for what you have to do.

With you CRL rank, its nearly impossible for you to get into MITS gwalior but you may stand a chance with your category rank which you haven't provided me with, so I cannot give exact words. 

But following the common trends from past few years it seems a bit tough that you will make it to MITS so I suggest you try for other private colleges or take a drop and prepare again
