inorder to get admission through jee mains result you need  to qualify the mains exam. as per the expected cutoff for this year for general category it is about 89.75 percentile but you have only 78.37 . so it is hard for you to get admission in pondicherry engineering college through merit list basis. work hard and do well in the next sessioin of the jee mains

Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry :- It is established in the year 1984. The ownership of the college is Public/Government. The college has approval as Autonomous college. The college has NIRF rating as AAAA and 76th rank in the list of top engineering colleges in India 2019. There are several courses offered by the college such as UG, PG Degree Programmes. The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is one of them.

Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering :- It is a full-time four-year course degree offered by Pondicherry University, Puducherry and approved by AICTE. There are total 120 seats available in this college for this course. The total fees for the 4 years of course is 5.46 lakhs. The placements record of the college is good.

Eligibility criteria to take admission in the course

The Higher Secondary Examination of the (10+2) curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination equivalent there to with minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for OBC and SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of subjects – Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Computer Science / Biology (Botany & Zoology).

In my opinion as a student of matrusri engineering college as per my experience our college has 2 branches…

One is MVSR:maturi Venkata subbarao engineering college ……located at nagole….which is main branch and has a excellent infrastructure placement and stands top in education among osmania university colleges

Other is matrusri engineering college located at saidabad…second branch of MVSR college….also provides the same education as professors are almost related to each other…but coming to infrastructure it's not that good looks like small intermediate college….has a decent placements…..if you are looking for just studies get a good marks go to foreign or take up a decent job….this college is very good….not that good at sports and other activities

So in conclusion matrusri is a good college we can't compare with Anurag group of institutions as it is OU Vs JNTU

Your score makes you one step eligible for admission in the college. But however you have to write any state level or national level exam or college entrance exam to fulfill all the elgibilty criteria. 

Hence attempt such exam and score minimum accepted marks to stand eligible for admission in the college.

Mostly the reporting centre is same as the alloted college but in some cases like availability of online counselling, the complete procedure can be completed online and in some cases, the document verification is the only offline step in such counselling and one need to appear to the alloted college for above mentioned purpose. In your case, first confirm that is your counselling and reporting part is online based or not, if not then try calling the helpline number for your queries as they will be the perfect fit to provide you the updated information.
