PEC Chandigarh Facilities

Students who are studying and who are admitted into the first year at PEC Chandigarh can avail all the necessary facilities which are provided by the college authorities. Students can avail these facilities throughout their tenure of studies. Since 2003 PEC Chandigarh library has been a part of INDEST-AICTE consortium under the ministry of Human Resource Development and UGC Infonet consortium under INFLIBNET since 2011. Three storey buildings which are divided into various sections in the new block at PEC Chandigarh are air-conditioned. PEC Chandigarh library is an interlinked building which covers an area of 27,000 square feet and provides access to the subject related books for research scholars, undergraduates, post graduates from different branches of engineering, faculty and staff/retired staff from various departments of the institute.
Sports
This institution provides various sports such as badminton, table tennis, hockey, football, volleyball, basketball and many other sports. PEC Chandigarh is provided with spacious playgrounds along with swimming pools.
I.T Infrastructure
Servers such as academia servers, e-mail servers, security walls connected to the PEC Chandigarh are updated regularly with latest software at PEC Chandigarh. Network here is very fast and easily accessible throughout the campus.

Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, boasts modern infrastructure with advanced labs, smart classrooms, a well-stocked library, and excellent facilities. The campus is well-maintained, fostering an optimal learning environment.

College Infrastructure

PEC is one of the oldest college of India so Infrastructure isn't upto mark, though they are upgrading at potential speed last year SIEMENS created top notch manufacturing, robotics and advanced computing lab, new hostels are building new courses and building are creating for academics and practical classes, but for now campus is situated in beautiful city Chandigarh, comprises of 200Acre land area.

Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi, labs and classroom facilities are decent. Overall, the infrastructure is too old and bad with some places being unhygienic. The new departments are good like ECE and CSE. The hostel food was good in the starting, but after some time it became worse. Sports and games facilities are very good with the college having 2 play grounds.
