RTU Kota Facilities

Infrastructure and facilities are important aspects that a student looks for in order to take admission. In the growth and development of students, a strong infrastructural facility helps. Thus, it is important for a student to wisely choose a college for admission. RTU Kota is equipped with all the important facilities that helps in overall growth of the students.

The Rajasthan Technical University Departments has an outstanding infrastructure that provides perfect ambience for emerging talents. For particular programmes, such as computer science, petroleum, aeronautical engineering, energy studies and MBA, there are different buildings. The library is well equipped with the latest books, e-journals, and references. The RTU campus has hostel facilities for students separately for boys and girls. RTU Kota Councils, Clubs and Committees:

Robotics Club: This club is the platform for all those students who are interested in creating robots. The different innovative ideas are discussed and members get a chance to showcase that.
Master Builders: This club of RTU was created by Civil engineering students and focuses on daily life problems and their solutions.
SAE RTU Club: This club is dedicated for all those who are interested in designing and manufacturing automobiles and their respective engineering sub-systems.
Aeromodelling Club: This club helps the students in developing aerodynamic skills by carrying out practical activities. This club is also responsible for construction and testing of aero models to students.
Technocryptics: Students with technical talents can be part of this club. This club conducts different technical quizzes.
Techknights: This club is also famous as a programme designing and gaming club in RTU Kota. Different live programming and development sessions and LAN Gaming sessions are conducted for students’ learning.
Word’s Worth: This club focuses on the overall personality development of students. Different sessions are conducted to improve verbal communication skills, stage speaking, or professional etiquette.
Dance Club: This club is all about the dance and dancers of RTU Kota. The club members give performances in different events and fests.
Music Club: This club is the best place for all the music enthusiasts. Equipped with different musical instruments, this club provides perfect ambience to learn music and practice vocals.
Drama Club: If anyone loves drama, this place is where they can go and practice.

Note: The RTU campus spread over 355 acres consists of academic blocks, workshops and well-equipped laboratories for the curriculum and research needs of the department.

Boys Hostel
The hostel in the RTU campus is available separately for the boys. The RTU provides a homely environment for the students by providing fresh and hygienic food and accommodation. All the necessary facilities such as AC, washing machine, water coolers and many others are available in RTU hostels.
Girls Hostel
The hostel in the RTU campus is available separately for the girls. The RTU provides a homely environment for the students by providing fresh and hygienic food and accommodation. All the necessary facilities such as AC, washing machine, water coolers and many others are available in RTU hostels.
Medical/Hospital
The dispensary is also available in the RTU campus. The dispensary facility is available 24x7 with medical consultants.
Gym
The college provides gymnasium for daily exercise. A well-built gymnasium that is open with all the suitable facilities and equipment.
Library
The RTU library has a wide collection of books, e-journals and magazines. Students have access to these in order to gain knowledge. The spacious area which is comfortable for reading is provided by the RTU library.
Sports
The RTU campus has a big and separate areas in order to provide various sports facilities. As a part of sports facilities, the college provides three indoor badminton rooms, a football field, a cricket pitch, a basketball court, a volleyball court with suitable facilities and sports equipment.
I.T Infrastructure
The University has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The canteen is available in the RTU campus providing snacks and other food items for the students and staff. The cafeterias of RTU make sure to provide healthy and nutritious food.
Auditorium
The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Alumni Associations
The University has good networking for the alumni association.
Banks/ATMs
Banking Facilities in RTU is extended by PNB Bank through its RTU Campus, Kota Branch that is located in the RTU premises. ATM facility, Internet Banking, Telebanking are available here.

The University has the Well-furnished Classroom facility available on the campus.

College Infrastructure

The facilities offered by our college includes free Wi-Fi to the students only for study purposes. The college has a large number of classrooms with a wide size. Each and every classroom was well furnished, the benches were neat and clean and was also in new condition. The college also has a library with the wide variety of books through which students get maximum benefit. The hostel facilities include the best quality food of canteen. It also possess the medical facilities with some knowledgeable person in medicines. If supports the games and sports specially in cricket and football.

College Infrastructure

RTU boasts an impressive campus with sprawling lawns, modern buildings, and state-of-the-art facilities. The highlight for me was the Asia’s largest digital library, which is a treasure trove of knowledge.

Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is so beautiful.Condition and maintenance of classrooms,labs , libraries and sports ground is on time.This college has an adequacy of space for various activities like sports,Cultural Function.Wi fi facility is available on college campus.The living space are clean and the food hygienic.

You may have a chance to get Computer Science (CS) in government engineering colleges, but it will likely depend on specific cutoffs and seat availability.

With an 85.79 percentile, you may have a chance to secure a CS seat in RTU Kota, but it could be competitive. It will depend on how high the cutoff goes for general category students in the CS branch.

Other government-affiliated colleges under REAP may offer you a better chance for admission into CS or related branches like IT.

Participation in state-level counseling can give you a wider range of options.

Can i get direct admission in rtu kota with CSE branch or IT ,I am from ST category .I got 71% in 12th board and I got 44 percentile in jee mains my category rank is 10308 and I have qualified jee advance also.

Hello Aspirant ,

As per your rank and considering that you are from st category you have fair chances to get cse branch in RTU kota .

However there may be slight chances for the cut offs to be varied depending upon certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper,number of seats available in the college.

If you can also try for lower level NITs like Meghalaya, Mizoram, Srinagar , Agartala.

RTU Kota B.Tech. admission is based on the merit of the student in Class 12th..Each stage of the RTU Kota B.Tech. admission has been mentioned below.

Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria of the B.Tech./B.E. programme.
Eligible candidates need to register themselves through REAP and pay the registration fees.
Aspirants need to fill the application form and submit it in online mode.
A merit list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the basis of marks scored in Class 12th or equivalent.
The seats are allocated on the basis of merit, the seats available and the order of options filled in the form of the college preference by the candidate and the category in online mode.

RTU Kota B.Arch. Admission Process:

RTU Kota admission to B.Arch. the course is provided on the basis of the score obtained in the National level examination JEE Main or NATA. The RTU admission will be provided giving equal weightage to both the Class 12th score and marks obtained in the entrance examination. Check below the steps of RTU B.Arch. admission:

Appear in the National Level Entrance examination JEE Main or NATA.
Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria of the B.Arch. programme.
Eligible candidates need to register themselves through REAP and pay the registration fees.
Aspirants need to fill the application form and submit it in online mode.
A merit list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the basis of marks scored in both the Class 12th and JEE Main or NATA. The RTU gives equal weightage (50% each) to both the Class 12th and JEE Main or NATA score.

If a student chooses a college in the first round, the upward movement option is available for them. The choice can be changed in the second round but he/she/they will lose the first round choice.
