College Infrastructure

Classrooms are the best compared to other DU colleges. Campus Wi-Fi is available but not for students; it is for the faculty. However, there are computers on which you can do work related to your course. Other than studies, it is prohibited to use the campus computers for personal work.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is not that good. The classrooms are under tin shades and do not have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus, only in the library and labs. The library is good, with many useful books and magazines. The college does not provide hostel facilities.

Delhi University I loved it

College Infrastructure

Classrooms were equipped with A/C at that time, but not sure whether they are working or not now. The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi facility is not available. They provide you with a password, but it doesn't get connected. Labs are well-equipped with instruments and are quite spacious. The library is good, and the faculty members are cooperative. Food in the canteen is okay. Some of the food items are very good, but the quality needs to be upgraded. I have no idea about games. But, I think facilities for every game are available. Students of our college won several sports competitions.

Have a question related to DU Delhi ?

If you haven't been allotted a seat in the spot round of the Delhi University (DU) PG Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) despite having more marks than the cutoff, you can consider the following steps:

  1. Check Eligibility and Documents:

    • Ensure that all your eligibility criteria and documents are in order. Sometimes, minor discrepancies or missing documents can cause issues in seat allocation.
  2. Contact the Admission Office:

    • Reach out to the DU admission office or the concerned department. Explain your situation clearly and provide evidence of your marks and cutoff comparison. They might be able to provide clarity or resolve any potential issues.
  3. Participate in Subsequent Rounds:

    • If there are more rounds of seat allocation or waiting lists, continue to participate in them. Sometimes, seats open up in later rounds due to cancellations or withdrawals.
  4. Explore Other Options:

    • Look for other colleges or universities where you might meet the cutoff and have a chance of admission. It’s always good to have backup options.
  5. Stay Updated:

    • Keep checking the official DU PG CSAS portal and your email for any updates or notifications regarding seat allocation.
  6. Review Your Preferences:

    • Ensure that the preferences you filled out in the application form align with the courses and colleges where you meet the cutoff. Sometimes adjusting your preferences can increase your chances in subsequent rounds.

i got 409 marks in 12th category RBA can i get a good engeneering college for btech in cse any chances of Delhi University?

Hello,

Getting admission into a good engineering college, particularly for a competitive field like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), largely depends on the entrance exams and cut-off marks for different institutions. Here’s a general idea of how your chances might look:

1. Delhi University (DU)

Delhi University’s engineering programs are primarily offered through the Delhi Technological University (DTU) and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). Both universities have high cut-off marks for their engineering courses, especially for popular branches like CSE.

  • DTU and NSUT : Admission to these institutes is typically based on JEE Main scores rather than 12th-grade marks alone. They have high cut-off marks, often requiring top percentiles in JEE Main for branches like CSE.

2. Other Engineering Colleges

If you're considering other institutions besides Delhi University, here's a general perspective:

  • State Engineering Colleges : You might have a better chance in state-level engineering colleges that use their own entrance exams or have lower cut-offs compared to top-tier institutions.

  • Private Engineering Colleges : Many private engineering colleges accept admission based on 12th-grade marks and their own entrance exams. Institutions like Manipal University, Amity University, and others could be worth exploring.

  • Deemed Universities and Institutes : There are several deemed-to-be universities and institutes with various admission criteria. These often have a range of cut-off marks and might offer good programs in CSE.
