Berhampore Girls College, Murshidabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college is two hostel campuses. One is within the college campus i.e., New Hostel, and the other is 200 meters away from the college campus i.e., Old Hostel. Within the Old Hostel campus, a new hostel building has been constructed with the help of the Minority Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The total seat capacity is about 350. There is also a PG Hostel within the Old Hostel Campus with a 30-seat capacity.

The College especially takes care of the health and hygiene of the students, teaching, and non-teaching staff. A Health Care Centre is running in the college since 1966 and it is now named: “Subha Swasthya Kendra” (Health Centre).

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college's very original of this institution, special emphasis has been laid on the enrichment of the library and increasing its resourcefulness. The college library, along with the college, got its affiliation in 1946

The college has one sports ground of its own. Outdoor games like Kho-Kho, Basket Ball, Badminton, etc, are being played there. The Annual Sports Competition of the college is held on the home ground. Indoor games like Carom, Table Tennis, etc. are played in their common room. The Physical Education Department is running smoothly with a good number of trained faculty members. The college underlines a glorious tradition of participation and achievement at University, State level, and National competitions. The department of Physical Education has opened up the scope for many sports-related events.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College has a registered Alumni Association. It has been enthusiastically constituted in 2005. The Association has been registered as “Berhampore Girls’ College Praktani” on 06.-8.2007. Since its inception, it has been playing the role of guidance and supervision to the present generation of the institute.
