Class room are good. Overall good faculties are available for mechanical department. No idea for other departments. Hostel and canteen are also available. Girls and boys separate available but in same campus.
Moderate level of education but all the faculties are good, knowledgeable and helpful. All the syllabus are controlled by MAKAUT. Semester exam done in proper way. Class notes of the teacher are very helpful for the exam.
Worst placement I have ever faced. Few companies are come for placement but not for work only for time pass. They doesn't provide not a single of placement. So don't expect the placement in this college.
This college has all the necessary infrastructure like well equipped laboratories, library, hostel facility for boys and girls, lift facility, playground, WiFi, room for indoor games, proper classrooms etc. We have two canteens in our college campus. Food is almost good and hygienic. They are not too costly.
I am studying B.Tech in Computer science and engineering. Currently I am in third year. Our college is under State Board named MAKAUT. And it follows the curriculum and syllabus of that board (MAKAUT). Syllabus is up to date. Sometimes, our college organizes workshops. But still some of the subjects can be modified. Those subjects can be included in the regular course curriculum rather than doing small workshops on them. Some faculties are from IIT while some are from Jadavpur or Kalyani Univ.
Placement record is pretty good. We have a separate placement cell in our college. Our placement head Sir always keeps trying to bring renowned companies to college for recruitment. Campusing usually starts from 7th semester. Almost 75% students get placed very year. Last year BYJU's offered 10 lacs and one of our seniors get that opportunity. Other recruiters are- TCS, JARO EDUCATION, WIPRO, GINESYS etc. Average package is around 3 lakhs. Placement cell organizes boot camp.
Our total course fee is Rs. 3.49 lakhs which can be paid in installment process. We have to pay around 21300/- twice a semester. Exam fee is Rs. 1200 which we have to pay once a semester to the board (MAKAUT).
Our college has one of the best campuses. Our campus is so beautiful that I can't express it in words. Our campus has a playground where students can ay football, cricket, badminton. Our college organizes a cultural fest named ANANDADHARA every year in the month of March-April. The fest is held in the college campus.
The institute has a very good mixture of young and aged faculties. This mixture gives the students of the institute to experience a depth of knowledge as well as the big opportunity for innovation. Rather than studies, there are so many opportunities open for the students. The only problem institute faces is the connectivity. As the institute is located far from the city and industrial area, it doesn't have that kind of exposure to the industry. But can hope that with the time it will overcome.
