College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

There is a hospital adjacent to the college campus. The hospital is managed by Kolaghat Thermal Power Station. They also give services to the employees and students of CEMK within certain limits.

The college has a Gym facility for all the students.

The college has an excellent air-conditioned open-access library where the students can directly choose their books from racks. The sufficient number of textbooks and reference books about 32618 Volumes & 4905 Titles in different subjects/fields are available. There is a good collection of Foreign journals (11 numbers hardbound), Indian journals (49 numbers), 13 numbers Technical magazines, Newspapers, CDs, Project Papers of senior students etc. so that both the students and faculty members are able to keep themselves abreast with the latest knowledge. Our Library has subscribed to all IEEE & IEE Journals On-Line to facilitate our students to access all these journals. The library is fully automated with Bar-coding facility. Library software, LS-Ease (College edition of LIBSYS) with multi-user LAN version is in use. There are computers, having an Internet connection for use by the students only.

The college has a sports facility for all the students. Facilities exist for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball and lawn tennis. However, lawn tennis is not played by the students. Indoor games in each common room are having table tennis, carom, chess, dirt and air rifle shooting arena and badminton court. Each common room is having a separate color TV. For boys, we have the moderate small gym with equipment and mirror. For girls, we are having a yoga center where we have a blood pressure machine, weight machine, charts and books that are interested in the students.

The DBMS & Soft Computing Laboratory has been started with the objective of promoting research and development, and teaching in frontier areas of AI,DBMS,Data Mining and Image Processing. The college has a cafeteria facility for all the students. There are five canteens within the campus. Four canteens are for the boys and one for the girls. All the canteens are located inside the hostels.

The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

The college has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students.

The college has a guest house on the campus. It is used for accommodating visiting faculty.

The college has an auditorium facility for all the events and seminar.
