Diploma in Civil Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).


Eligibility Criteria

a) Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen.

b) Age: Should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit.

c) Qualification: A candidate must have passed the Secondary (10th Standard) Examination with English, Physical Science / Science, and Mathematics among other subjects, securing at least 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate excluding the marks of the additional subject. The candidates appearing in the Secondary (10th Standard) Examination may also apply. However, confirming that the benchmark of 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate excluding the marks of the additional subject is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be canceled even after selection in JEXPO.

For 2-year Diploma courses (Through VOCLET):

Must have passed/appeared in the  (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development ( Vocational Education Division ) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training].

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is decent as the buildings are old and are prone to demolitions. Most of the plot is surrounded by bushes and are gloomy in nature. The overall area is small relative to the size of the buildings.
