The college infrastructure is decent as the buildings are old and are prone to demolitions. Most of the plot is surrounded by bushes and are gloomy in nature. The overall area is small relative to the size of the buildings.
This college give a decent academic experience since the professors does not give that much effort into teaching and the students also bunk classes. Moreover the academic routine is not interesting enough.
Placements are not good as there are no good companies which comes in our college for recruiting and neither our college faculties helps to bring them. The companies which comes neither gives good packages nor good recruitment.

B.C. Roy Polytechnic, which is situated in the heart of Durgapur. B. C. Roy Polytechnic, one of the best diploma college in Eastern India, was established in the year of 2014 and affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and skill development. And admission is done through Polytechnic Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) , management quota and other selection criteria . So, you have to prepare for JEXPO and also on basis of 10th percentage you can get admission ,for which you have to filled the admission form in official website of the Institution.
