Have a question related to HIT Kolkata ?

Respected sir/madam Do you have faculty requirement in AEIE department? I want to apply here for the faculty post then what is the procedure

Hello,

As of now, there is no publicly available information indicating that Careers360 has faculty positions in the Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE) department. Careers360 primarily functions as an educational platform providing information on exams, colleges, and courses across India.

If you're interested in faculty positions in the AEIE field, you might consider exploring opportunities at educational institutions that offer this program. For instance, the Haldia Institute of Technology has an AEIE department.

Hello there,

With a rank of 72,000 in WBJEE , securing admission into the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata might be challenging, as this branch is often highly sought after and has relatively higher cutoffs.

Options:

  1. Alternative Branches: You might have better chances with branches like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or Civil Engineering if they have lower cutoffs.

  2. Counseling Rounds: Keep an eye on the WBJEE counseling process and check cutoffs during each round for possible openings.

  3. Other Colleges: Consider applying to other engineering colleges in West Bengal or nearby states where the cutoffs might be lower.

Check the Heritage Institute of Technology admission updates and participate actively in the counseling process for the best chance of securing a seat.

I would recommend you to use WBJEE college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

Here is the link to the tool:

https://www.careers360.com/wbjee-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=ini-cet_cp

Click on the above link, fill the required details and you will get the list of possible colleges at your rank.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

im pursuing biotech from heritage institute of technology.. is it worth it? because from csab i would have gotten civil engineering in iiest shibpur

Choosing between Biotechnology and Civil Engineering depends on your interests and career goals. Biotechnology can offer exciting opportunities in research, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, especially if you're passionate about biological sciences and innovation in life sciences. Civil Engineering, on the other hand, provides a more traditional engineering path with opportunities in infrastructure development and construction.

If you're interested in biotechnology and the field excites you, it could be a worthwhile choice. However, if you feel more inclined towards traditional engineering and the opportunities it presents, you might have considered civil engineering more suitable. Both fields have their merits, so it's essential to align your choice with your career aspirations and interests.

Hope it helps..
