It's a beautiful campus placed in the Sector V region. Though online but I have visited it quiet often and it was an amazing experience there. The college has huge buildings and are very well maintained.

Excellent in academics as the teachers present here are very efficient in every field. The teachers are very helpful and skilled. We have a good teaching staff. IEM Kolkata is very serious about academics.

Very good placements happen every year. Big tech giants companies come and hire Students from here. Many seniors have adviced me to join IEM Kolkata because of its placements only. Even in pandemic situation it gave the best placement results in all over West Bengal.

Yes it's absolutely value for money although the semester fees is a bit high but along with it the benefits we are getting are also very good. Yes I feel that I am getting my money's worth and I would recommend it too.

Although we are facing this coronavirus pandemic we didn't get a campus life but I have heard from the seniors that the campus life at IEM Kolkata is very enjoyable and many programs events happen here.

I would give an Excellent rating to IEM Kolkata.

Facilities and equipment are well maintained, all the labs are equipped with the necessary equipment and the infrastructure is good enough for students to move around, buildings are well maintained and decent.

I’m currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and the faculty in this college is knowledgeable and caring for their students. Our doubts are answered in class and the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments

The quality of placements have been good in this college with a maximum of 40 LPA, and an average of 7-8 LPA in the computer science branch, with 100% of students getting placed in that respective branch.

All facilities available including libraries, cantine, sports centers & hostels. Foods are hygienic. The entire college has a Wi-Fi facility. A digital library has all materials and is open 24*7. The sports room is average, and the classrooms are huge and spacious.

Good quality teaching. Professors are friendly but too much workload. Most of them are Ph.D. holders, and you will be provided opportunities. Almost every day, there is a webinar, and teachers always take students' doubts.

Best placement in West Bengal. I am going to pass out in 2024. The average salary package offered was 5-6 LPA among 750 students who got placed in 2020. Most of the product-based companies visit here. TCS and Wipro are the major recruiters who get selected in reputed companies and get placed through off-campus placement. The highest off-campus salary was 56 LPA.

Not at all value for money. Too much overhyped.

If placement is your & study is your only goal then you can join this college for sure.

The infrastructure is quite good.We have a well developed library with ample number of books of different fields.And the classrooms are quite spacious &around 150 to 180 students can seat and take the classes.. overall like the infrastructure.

Yes!!! here comes the most important point where IEM has driven quite well.. Most of the facilities are lenient and teach well..and we can avail anytime with any sort of doubts..the facilities are highly educated and IEM should deserve a big thumbs up..

well IEM-UEM is known for it's outstanding placements... Infact last year we had a student got a package of around 72lpa.. average placements are quite good for every branches... Almost 90 percent of the students are either placed with 1 or 2 jobs in campus to a renowned company.. overall the placements are good...

Overall it's value for money to take an admission and shine with flying colours.. overall the college is good and moreover a reputed college in terms of placements,acedamics and all...

It's a quite big campus and plenty of space to roam around the classrooms are quite big and the campus is situated in a serene environment..in campus canteens are available the food quality is quite average... Overall nice

Very good infrastructure.everything is very good.The entire college has wifi labs with modern equipment a and 24×7 library,huge classroom and playground hostel and bus facility also available here.Cantine

Approximately 75-80% students get placed from this collage. The highest sallary package offered 40 LPA, Average 3.5-6 LPA.top companies like Microsoft and google also visit here.Almost 80-85% students golet internship

Iem is know for placement so almost everyone one got placed so this is very value for money

Though online.... I have seen and heard from seniors that the infrastructure of our college is great......... And the classrooms, library and laboratory are well equipped. Also hostel are available...

Nothing more to say.....the academic side of our college is great and the teacher are very friendly. Everyday they conduct quiz to see our progress. In this situation they conducting various webiner to help us to gain knowledge....

No doubt In placement of iem is very good..... Even in pandemic situation they tried to placed 100% students. They also have placement shell.........In West Bengal one of the most eminent institution.

Iem has 3 buildings and is a also considered a very good college in Kolkata and West Bengal. The labs are really good, with AC's in classrooms. The faculties are really experienced and teachers us from basic to the very advanced levels. It has a pretty clean campus with lush green trees and the canteen is preferred by almost all of us for it's nice and quality food items.

I am pursuing by BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The curriculum is thoroughly updated and it makes us efficient enough and job ready. The quality of education is extremely good here.

IEM is excellent in terms of placements . It is the best private college and is considered among the top colleges In West Bengal . The students has excellent placements and packages at the end of their courses with almost 80-85% of the batch getting placed with the highest salary from Ece is 13 lpa ctc and average ranges from 5-6 lpa.

My course costs 1,25,000 per year! So it total sums up to 5 LAKHS in 4 years. I feel I'm getting a value for my money. As the teachers are really good and helpful and I'm learning a lot of things and becoming industry ready slowly.

It has a not so big campus but still one can enjoy here none the less. The best features are the cafeteria and the ground. The worst being the campus is small and everything here is very packed up. The students, teachers and seniors are friendly and helpful. The location is at prime Salt Lake, it's an IT hub in kolkata. And it is absolutely safe and handles the emergencies very well .

I would prefer this college to everyone.

For core departments, facilities are not abundant, but IT and ECE is really good. Clases are well equipped with wifi, smart boards, projectors. Living spaces are clean and canteen is really good and hygienic

Good faculty and tremendous learning opportunities, curriculum is updated with industry relevant topics, research labs, and a culture of innovation. There are plenty of assignments, activities included to make you equipped with recent developments in industry.

Placements are 100%, dominated mostly by IT companies, like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, SAP Labs, Mindtree, Etc College is supportive when it comes to placements and officers are engaged with top companies across India, and therefore good and quality opportunities available . Average package is around 4/5 lpa

ROI is 100% for average students, for students who Crack good companies it could be around 200%

Campus life not great, limited options, lack of playing ground

Infrastructure is not as good as you would expect from a private college. This is also because it is in the main part of Sector -V and not in Outskirts. You will not be getting a Playground. But there is a Basketball court. Everything else is Good but could have been better.

I am persuing B-Tech in Computer science engineering and i feel professors are very good and helpful. Main goal is to focus on placements and higher education. You will also be getting training for Your placements in 3rd year.

Almost every student gets placed. Main recruiters being Tata consultancy services, Infosys, Cognizant and wipro. Almost every mass company comes to college. Company like Adobe and Amazon also comes. Specially CSE ,IT and ECE students get placed in huge numbers. Best placed students were who were placed in Amazon .

Fees are not very high in comparison to other Private colleges and also placement is good hence it is value for money!

As infrastructure is not that good , you would feel like you are in school. A disciplined one. Teachers abd staffs are good. But it misses a college ground which i think should be must.

The college infrastructure is good enough but campus area is little bit small .But the good thing is that we have 3 campuses of these college. The lab are good and well equipped with all the required and latest instruments . College dosen't have hostel but you would find hostels near by college.

Academics of these college is outstanding ,one of the best college in entire west bengal. The teachers are good and very helpful who help the student a lot in their course . College follow instructions from MAKAUT ,but now it is autonomous.

The college has a placement cell and that is very good. Most of the students of these college gets placed and get a good packages offered by the big companies. Teachers helps a lot in developing personality for placements .
