The campus is small with no playground. But tha campus is very neat, clean.Labs have all necessary equipment specially the control lab and power system lab.we have a dedicated project lab for our department.
Don't go by the size of the campus,we may not have a vast campus but the education is of quality ,the teachers are experienced. Moreover there are no part time teachers, all of them are full time.eveb during the lockdown period they took online classes aslo..
The placement is ok,but it depends upon the students skilled they are depending upon which the salary varies.but most of the companies are IT.All necessary classes prior to job exam are arranged mock interview also provided.
The average fees of this college is 1 lakh per year, and I would say that it is quite decent for such an engineering college.
The 4 year if campus lis good. We got helpful teachers friendly atmosphere..it is remarkable.
Here we have different club for different extra curricular activities..Parisi the annual tech fest of MSIT is one of the biggest tech fest of entire west Bengal..

I am a TFW student. Other than admission fee and caution money the fees per sem is Rs 1250/-, even if you are not TFW the quality of education you get is really worth your money.
The 4 year of campus life is really great, we got helpful teachers friendly atmosphere and most importantly the Tech fest which are held twice a year.
Here we have the Tech club named Megatronix which held tech fest twice a year . This is great for learning technical and managerial skills. Paridhi the annual tech fest of MSIT is one of the biggest tech fest of entire West Bengal.
The rooms are quite good , having all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The system is not smart enough. there are not that much space in the corridor. But overall clean and hygienic.
All teachers are try there best but our curriculum is not that much relevant for job purpose. knowing the basic knowledge is important but that doesn't make anyone job ready. If it will be updated then it will be fine.
Average. Placement is not good in current situation. The percentage of students are placed is now tends to zero. Everyone is supportive but the salary company offered is less and the no of company is also less.
Average. The money is not that much worthy.
Average
Good
The classrooms and laboratories are adequate. Library is also upto the standards. There is no playground, neither WiFi connectivity for students. There is an in-campus canteen where one can get snacks as well as complete meals.
I am currently studying electrical engineering as it has always been my passion to become an engineer and electrical engineering has always been my area of interest. The quality of teaching is adequate. The curriculum is a mixture of conventional syllabus and much more needed newly added topics which are regularly updated. My department particularly organised many seminars and industrial visits. However i truely believe making someone job ready is his/her own responsibility and not that of college.
Quality of placement has improved over the past years. My seniors had the highest placement in Bosch from my department. It was around 3-4 l.p.u.Some people get placed in TCS,Capgemini,TVS etc.Although majority offers are from IT or software sectors.I am currently in my third yr and dedicated Placement cell is guiding us with our doubts regarding recruitment.Interview related classes are also taken.
Its costs around 4 lakhs to complete the whole 4 yrs BTech course.
The college is spacious but lacks any sports related infrastructure. Many cultural as well technical activities take place throughout the year where students can take part. There are various clubs for extra curricular activities. Its very near to Ruby Hospital and has own generator setup. We have an atm just beside our campus. The location is a bit distant off from main road however auto and cabs are available.I have never heard any complain from female students regarding road safety. So its safe.
College has average Infrastructure. It was expanded in 8 acre land. Our College has basic Laboratory equipments, a big library consists of several books and a small Canteen. Campus is clean and hygiene is maintained in the campus.
I am studying BTech in Civil engg . Very few professors are good and interested in teaching. Most of the faculty are just attending classes without any interest. Quality of education is average in my branch. I dont think my Curriculum is updated. In India, we are following very primitive education policy which only concentate on memorising and scoring more marks which is no use later. Their is no focus on making students industry ready. That's why in core branches placements are very rare.
Apart from core branches every other branch students i.e, cse, it or ece got decent salary. Placement in core branches is rare. But still electrical students have some edge compare to Civil and mechanical. In cse and it approx 90% placement, Salary - 25k to 35k ( Monthly). If u hve good academic record ece, bca, also got placed in same Salary. Electrical has 60% placement (20k to 30k).civil only 10 students got placed. Mechanical 5 only.
College don't have own Hostel. We Live at a private Hostel near College campus. The Per sem -40k + Hostel fee ( no college Hostel) - 36000/sem =76k /sem ... This much money with no guarntee of job is not worth. In Hostel, no free wifi(u hve to pay extra to use),normal mess food, only good think non veg almost every day..
U can make good friends. Because Kolkata is good place for that.
If u are from CS it or ece.. U can join. With good academic marks and coding skills u can definetely get a job. Core branch job is tough. Apart from ee.
As far as classrooms are considered, they are the most cleanest one. However they don't have smart boards or even a white board. Laboratories are well equipped and updated with new equipments. Though the library is small but have all the collections of needy books. Canteen is well maintained and hygienic. Though we don't have a playground, we do have seminar hall to conduct occasional events.
I belong to electrical department and trust me we have the best and amazing faculty members. They are so kind and helpful, always there to clear our doubts. They even never deny taking extra classes to make us succeed in a particular topic. They do take classes to improvise our soft skills and make us industry ready.
Placements are fair. Several classes our taken to crack the interview round and to make us industry ready. We'll known companies like CTS, TCS, ITC Innfotech, Mphasis, Accenture etc do conduct their place drives in this college. Students have to work hard to crack core companies as very few of them visit our college.
The average fees of this college is around 1 lakh per year, and I would say that it is quite decent for such an engineering college.
I enjoyed a lot in my college days. Participated in cultural fests, farewells, different workshops and many more.
Our department of electrical is a developing department.....classroom are good, but the laboratories are not at all go......libraries facilities are average and there are almost no scope of sports in our college as our campus area is very small.....Toilets are very dirty......food is sometimes not good and healthy in the canteen.
Basically i had come in this college to feel the essence of the core subjects....but some teachers are not so good in explaining their notes or the topic.....and at the same time some of the teachers are really good and helpful in shaping our career and clarifying all the doubts.
The quality of placement is average for electrical students......abt 55%of the students get placed and as very few core companies are coming to visit our college....mostly the jobs offered by software companies....so for cse,it,ece our college is giving good placement opportuinities but not fore the core branches like EE,ME and CE.....the average package is around 3.5lacs per annum and the highest package sometimes goes to 10 LPA .In total abt 60-65 percent of the students get placed at present.
If you are going for core departments in these college my suggestion is you should not go because campus placements in core companies are very less....If u really want to join our college you should go for CSE,IT,ECE
Infrastructure is fine. However it does not have smart boards or WiFi. Classrooms are well maintained. The libraries are stocked. Laboratories are fine. Living space is hygienic. However, there are no sport's grounds.
I was studying electrical engineering. The faculty is very experienced. The curriculum was not updated in my time. However, the curriculum has been changed. My course did make me job ready. It helped me find my subject of interest.
Placements are okay. One gets enough opportunities. However, for a student in core one will have to excel to land an opportunity in a core company. Cause a very few core companies come to the college.
My course costed 85k per year. At the same cost a few other colleges offer a little more. For example better lab equipments, a playground etc.
This college has well equipped facility and good infrastructure, laboratories are not so very well equipped and classrooms are good maintained, there are lot of books available in the library and e-books also available. The college atmosphere is quite Clean & hygienic.
I am doing my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering . Academics wise college is very good and Our Faculties are very Knowledgeable, Helpful and Understandable. The college also provides a very good Seminar for our Skill Development..
I think the quality of placement is quite good, the starting package starts from 3 lakh per annum and it is majorly placement in technical companies and students with coding skills can get placed into IT companies also & our college professors are quite supportive for our placements and they help a lot during our whole journey of Engineering.
According to my college, money should not measure the education.. College administration is very good and very much helpful. We and our parents are satisfied with fees we pay for this good quality of education.
The campus life is very charming and enjoyable no political-smell is there. Our campus is surrounded by greenery. Our college located near to hospitals, schools, police station and few kilometers to airport and railway station. So in case of any emergency we are able to get into. The staffs in college are supportive to students.Students are engaged in various enriching activities ranging from sports& cultural activities to knowledge skilling sessions.
The infrastructure of this college is downright pathetic. Having studied here for 4 years, I never saw the slightest attempt to set up a decent playground or to upgrade the labs. The college management has been diligently apathetic to students' requests and complaints since time immemorial.
Barring a few, most of the faculty are incompetent, insincere and indifferent. Most teachers actually read out entire paragraphs from a book or give out organizer problems to solve. So academics indeed requires a lot of improvement.
Meghnad Saha has a reputation of dishing out forged and falsified placement data. The placement officer is lazy and unhelpful. Placements for core companies are non-existent. Even for some IT companies, placements are few and far between.
The college management being fraudulent and unethical, we never even got our caution money back. College fees was moderate, but I feel it's useless to go for this college unless you're okay with the fact that you will never get placed from college.
Teachers are mostly okay when it comes to behavior. The staff however, are extremely rude. There have been issues when students have even been manhandled by the security staff. Not a bright campus life, to be honest.
Meghnad Saha boasts of a management that's fraudulent and corrupt to the core. They take 20000 INR as caution money from every student at the time of admission but never give it back post graduation. The college principal was accused of stealing funds last year and was quietly removed from college. From y juniors, I've even come to know that the college has started coaxing students to give the college good ratings on sites like these. There's literally no low Techno India can't sink to.
