NIELIT Aurangabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has currently 04 Boy hostels functioning on the campus, built based on contemporary architecture. The hostels are named after the "Industrial Professional Hostel (IP Hostel), P.G. Hostel, Swami Vivekananda B.Tech. Hostel and Diploma Hostel Each of these hostel blocks has well-ventilated rooms designed to accommodate students on a shared occupancy basis. The hostel rooms are furnished with cots, study tables, chairs, cupboards, and bookshelves, enabling a comfortable stay and ensuring a learning conducive environment. Each hostel has provision for safe drinking water with hot and cold water dispensers, 24 Hr uninterrupted power supply with generator backup, housekeeping services, a reading room with national and vernacular newspapers, an indoor games facility, LCD television with satellite connection, etc., and centralized gym facility with modern fitness equipment. All hostels are WiFi-enabled with High-Speed Access to the Internet, Digital Library, and other Digital Learning Resources. Need-based laundry service provider, BOM Bank with ATM is available in the University campus in the close vicinity to the hostels to meet the needs of resident students.

The college-rich library caters to the information needs of the students, researchers, and scientists with its well-managed information resources housed on two floors spread over an area of 331 sq. Mar. The library has a huge collection of books, reference books, periodicals, and electronic resources. The mission is to facilitate the creation of new knowledge through the acquisition, organization, and dissemination of knowledge resources.

The college offers a center of excellence that includes CAD/CAM, Central Networking, Consumer Electronics, Embedded System Design, Industrial Automation, Internet of Things (IoT), Open Source Computing, Opto Electronics, Power Electronics, Printed Circuit Board, Test & Measurement, VLSI Design, Additive Manufacturing Lab, Multimedia Lab. These are all necessary for the practical work of the various departments in the institute.

The college has its own indoor and Outdoor grounds and additional sports facilities may be subtilized on request from the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Aurangabad.

Indoor Games: Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom boards, Chess.              

The college gym facility is available on our premises for the welfare of the day scholars and hostel inmates. A separate gym is set for both men and women. A central full-fledged equipment center instills the spirit of health-conscious persons to utilize our state-of-the-art gym facilities. Regular exercising improves not only your physical health but also improves your mental ability by improving confidence, perseverance, concentration, bravery, and so on.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
