NIFT Jodhpur Admission Process

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur offers admission to B.Design with different specialisations, B.F.Tech Apparel Production and MFM. NIFT Jodhpur admission to courses is based on the performance of the candidates in the NIFT Entrance Exam. For its various courses NIFT, Jodhpur offers distinct written exams. For NIFT Jodhpur B.Design admission candidates have to appear for the Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test.

The General Ability Test (GAT) is required for students enrolled in the B.F.Tech Apparel Production and MFM Course. Aspiring candidates must meet the specific requirements for their desired course and must follow the entire admission process.

NIFT Jodhpur Application Process 2024

Candidates can visit the official website and apply online at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur.
Click on the “Register for Seat Allocation” tab and select UG/PG.
Fill out the application form, upload academic and personal documents and preview all the details before submitting the form.
The Application Fee has to be paid through an online payment gateway.
The non-refundable fee for applying online at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur, is Rs. 3000/- for the Open/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category and Rs. 1500/- for SC/ ST/ PWD category, payable through the payment gateway.
The bank and transaction charges on the application fee will be borne by the applicant.

NIFT Jodhpur B.Des Admission Process 2024

Candidates have to appear for the national-level design entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology i.e NIFT entrance exam.
The entrance exam comprises three rounds - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test/interview.
Candidates qualifying CAT and GAT have to further appear for the Situation Test.
Next candidates have to meet the NIFT Jodhpur cutoff.
Candidates meeting the NIFT Jodhpur cutoff have to register for NIFT counselling and candidates will be allotted seats at NIFT Jodhpur as per the rank secured in the entrance exam and seat availability.
After the seat allocation, candidates have to pay the NIFT Jodhpur course fee.

NIFT Jodhpur B.F.Tech Apparel Production Admission Process 2024

Applicants should fill the application form on the official website of the institute.
Aspirants have to appear for the NIFT entrance exam comprising the General Ability Test (GAT).
Next, candidates have to meet the requisite cut-off.
Once the cutoff is met, candidates have to register for NIFT counselling and participate in it and seats will be allotted accordingly.

NIFT Jodhpur MFM Admission Process 2024

Candidates have to apply and appear for the NIFT PG entrance examination.
MFM candidates have to take the GAT exam.
Candidates qualifying for the above-mentioned exams have to attend group discussions and interviews.
Qualifying candidates have to register and participate in the NIFT counselling.
Once a seat has been allotted, candidates have to complete the admission process by paying the fees and getting the documents verified.

NIFT Jodhpur Admission 2024: Documents Required

Self Attested copy of 10+2 class mark sheet and certificate.
Self Attested copy of mark sheets of 3 or 4 years Diploma/Degree on the basis of which the candidate is seeking admission.

In case of an applicant applying for any reserved seat, the following documents must be submitted.

Self Attested copy of SC certificate.
Self Attested copy of ST certificate.
Self Attested copy of disability certificate.
Self Attested copy of the OBC certificate in the prescribed format.

Note- Applicants can get the final result regarding admission within 15 days after the interview.
