College infrastructure is very good, there are 2 campuses of our college on either side of the road and both are large enough , the most exciting thing is that the college is now going through a renovation session which will definitely increase its beauty.
Till now all the teachers who have taught me jn this college are good and supportive. The teachers here maintain a friendly behavior with the students and they are always ready to help you . . . . . .
In my knowledge the placement history of this college is very good. Average package is 6-7Lpa which is more than the 4 years fees and highest was probably 12lpa which is also good. Many companies apart from mass recruiters visit this college which is also a positive thing.
The fees of this college is very minimal that is 4.5 lakhs which is very less when compared to fees of other colleges. I feel that I'm getting money's worth because the overall academic environment of this college is too good.
Campus Life at RCCIIT is just awesome. There are many fests and events that keep happening in our college, these events also help us to network with people of different departments and seniors and also helps us improve our communication skills.
Yes, My College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Every classroom, laboratories have projectors and screen some classrooms also have smartboards. There is Wifi throughout the Campus - Both Old & New
I am studying Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering because it's my dream to be a software engineer from my childhood. The quality of teaching here is absolutely fine and easy to understand. Yes curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments. Yes it's job ready.
Quality of placement is quite good at our college. Around 90% of students were placed. Highest Salary package was 13 LPA. It goes to Computer Science and Engineering. Average Salary offered is 5 LPA. Yes the placement process is easy here. Our college is extremely supportive.
My course costs around 1 lakh per year. Yes I am getting value for money education here. The quality of education here is very good along with all kinds of modern infrastructure. There are many laboratories throughout the campus
My campus life is extremely great. Students can get engaged in various activities technical, cultural, sports etc. The location is too easy. All kinds of transport are available. Yes emergencies are also handled.
Decent facilities, but 3rd tier struggles show. Labs lack modern equipment, library resources limited. Infrastructure needs an upgrade for a more conducive learning environment. Good faculty compensates, but invest in better resources for holistic education.
Budding talents meet uninspiring academics. Faculty sincerity varies; some gems, some lacking. Syllabus outdated, hindering real-world relevance. Invest in curriculum overhaul for a brighter academic future.
For a 3rd tier college, placements paints a promising picture with notable success stories, Industry tries growing, reflecting in diver job opportunities. Still commendable. For more detailed placement report you can head to official college website.
Lacks a hostel facility, that is a downer, though you will find PGs, and housing societies to hang by.
I've graduated in 2017, back then we haven't any smart board and wifi. Though necessary infrastructure was there. Yes laboratories were well maintained. We do not have any hostel facilities in our college.
Faculties in Information technology were very knowledgeable and helpful. In fact it holds true for across departments.yes our curriculum was updated. And it made us job ready. We are all placed in good companies in good positions.
Placement scenario was not as clear as it is to be. In our batch approximately 60% got placed through placement process that too in campus and off campus put together. And rest of my batch mates got placed by cracking off campus interview.
Actually it was value for money till my batch as we were the last batch of the older fees structure. Compared to other engineering colleges around the city it was quite economical.
Although we were having two campuses there was no campus life as such. The institute does not have any playground and hostel facilities for students.
Overall, it's a decent enough college in the city considering you are not having any requirements for playground and hostel facilities.
I graduated in 2020 in my time Our college had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for an engineering college. We had well-equipped classrooms, and laboratories. We do not had any smartboard and wifi at that time.
I was studying Electronics and Communication Engineering. The quality of teaching was really good and the faculties were helpful. Yes our curriculum was at per industry standards and it made us job ready,
In 2020 due to Covid 19, most of my batchmates were unplaced. I was also unplaced later I got into TCS by off-campus interview. Most of my unplaced classmates got placed by off-campus interviews in wipro, cognizant, accenture ,capgemini.
My course fee was 362000 for the 2016-2020 batch. It was value for money according to me.
We do not have a campus life as our college was really small and it is also divided into two parts. We have fests like regalia and bihan.
College has everything except a playground and good sports culture ,, not even that good of events are in this college infustructures are good but not sufficient everything is there but in a small scale
College is good teachers are helpfull in classes and are great but not helpful in projects but not all of them.some teachers expect you to do everything on own they try to push us so that we can be good
Its ok,, if u r good student with good grades and are doing really great it will be good but current situation is not that greats teachers try to provide internship as well which if u work hard will prove to be great
The campus has all the necessary infrastructure for imparting quality technical education. Labs, libraries, and classrooms are well equipped to teach engineering and allied courses. Linux systems in CS Labs are particularly an add-on.
Perhaps, one of the best engineering colleges in all of Kolkata, and beyond. Special attention is given to academics and curriculum. Students are motivated to pursue higher education and advance in the field of academia.
Placements have seen a steady improvement over the years. Many reputed companies like IBM, PwC, Amazon, JP Morgan, and BMC Software visit the college for campus recruitment. Salary packages can be as high as 14 LPA.
With the entire course fees being around 3.5 lakhs per year, the biggest plus point of RCCIIT is its Return on Investment (ROI). The average package ranges between 6-8 LPA and students enjoy a healthy ROI and value-for-money.
The campus life is exhilarating. There are multiple technical, cultural, and sports events conducted every year. Bands and stars from across the country perform in these events. A truly special experience!
Yes my college has all the necessary facilities. Classroom and labs has all the equipments such as smart boards etc. Playing ground is there. Hostel is not provided by the college. Library is also good as we can get all the necessary books.
I am studying BTech in computer science and the quality of teaching is very good. Yes my curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments in the field.Yes it do make you ready for your jobs.
The quantity of placement is good but the quality is average. The percentage of students placed last year was 95%. The highest pack was 8LPA. Avg salary offered was 3.5LPA.Yes the college was supportive.
27000 per sem.
Campus life at RCC is not the best. But if u compare it with the money which a student is paying. Best feature is u can roam around the campus any time in a day. But some sports can't be played at night like football, cricket net practice sometimes volleyball. Student are friendly and helpful teacher are also good and qualified but the is on the students, teacher only guide in engineering colleges.
Overall it's a good college.
It's good with well equipped lab settings and good computer labs. The arena is good. Many technologies being introduced. Some things must be reviewed properly but apart from that everything is upto the mark.
Yes every year the curriculum is updated. It's at par with the Tech-savvy world. We are exposed to various seminars and online Moocs courses, too. Apart from technical knowledge we get practical knowledge as well.
Since last few years the placements are not good enough compared to previous years. Still college is trying to pull up the socks and get the best companies possible. TPO is trying to get the companies and also various on drive and off drives are held as well .
It's worth the investment.
Ambience and teachers are good and helpful. Campus have a serene view too.
It's good College if you don't have any government college left in your option try out this instead of dropping a year.
We have a library containing millions of books and have facility of reading at that place . We have also book bank facility which provides students 4 books in each semester. We have laboratories of each subject and well maintained computer labs. Out college is under 24×7 wifi service which provides moderate speed. Our college is clean and tidy which contains 2 canteens .
I was proposed by my some neighbors to get admitted in this college as this college is in the 4th position among private engineering colleges of West Bengal and our faculties are well skilled highly educated. They teach us in a very good manner.
In this year due to corona situation around 60% student is being settled and got job. But last few years placement scenario is not going very well. But college authority is trying hard to bring more and more companies keeping the lives of students in their mind
Our college is semi government college it is goverment afflicted autonomous college... So the fee structure is lesser than other private colleges. In 1st sem 62500 was paid for admission and then for 2nd-8th sem according to fee structure of fee book the college fees are paid but the amount is is between 40000-47000
We spend very good campus life with academic life. There are small ground inside our college where students used to play cricket football badminton etc. And we have many programs which is conducted by college like tech fest cultural fest intercollege intra college sports, fresher's welcome etc.
I am very happy with my experience in my college. And I would refer and suggest that they can join our college too .
Hello,
Choosing between RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) and Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) for MCA depends on your priorities regarding attendance and placements.
1. Attendance:
While official policies at both institutions generally require 75% attendance, NSEC is typically perceived as being more lenient with attendance enforcement. This leniency could allow more flexibility for students managing internships or external activities. RCCIIT, being a government-aided institution, tends to be stricter regarding attendance to maintain academic discipline.
2. Placements:
RCCIIT has a slightly stronger reputation for placements, especially for MCA students. The college has better industry connections and companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys frequently recruit from its campus. RCCIIT’s alumni network in the IT industry also plays a crucial role in securing job opportunities. On the other hand, NSEC also has decent placement records, but its focus on core engineering streams might slightly impact the MCA-specific placement scenario.
In summary, if you prioritize flexibility in attendance, NSEC may be a better fit. However, for stronger placement opportunities, RCCIIT might be a wiser choice. It's important to visit both campuses and speak with current students to get real-time feedback.
Hope it helps !
