Regent Institute of Science and Technology, was started in the year 2012 at North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. This affiliated college, sprawling across a 2-acre campus, has carved out a niche in the technical education sector. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, RIST offers varied ranges of diploma programmes catering to the needs of the ever-changing engineering sector. This ideal learning environment has been provided with 42 faculty members and a student enrolment of 901.

State-of-the-art facilities adorn the campus, enriching the learning experience of the students. Equipped with the latest technological gadgets, the laboratories in RIST implement a work environment, like real-world scenarios, to develop practical knowledge in students for their prospective professional lives. The library of Regent Institute of Science and Technology is a treasure house of knowledge and has enough resources to satiate the zeal of learning in students. Maintenance of boys' and girls' hostels nearby, with all safety measures and comfortable living conditions assured, is also carried out by RIST. The college cafeteria acts as a thriving social centre that serves a great variety of tasty food at very reasonable prices. To ensure smooth commutation, transport facilities are also provided to the students by RIST.

RIST runs a total of 5 full-time diploma courses in engineering, and all are of 3 years duration. These programmes are offered in key areas of engineering, such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.
