Scottish Church College, Kolkata Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are 3 boys hostel buildings named Duff Hostel, Ogilvie Hostel and Wann Hostel. The hostel rooms are equipped with adequate amenities such as bathrooms and mess facilities. The hostel is in the campus premises, making it easier for students to get to classes. 

Lady Jane Dundas Hostel provides well furnished rooms to occupants. The hostel infrastructure provides basic amenities, such as a mess, hot water facility and other such amenities. 

SCC Kolkata Library provides access to more than 1,18,000 books and 13,402 journals, for study and research materials. The library provides a small number of computer systems equipped with internet facilities.

The college has sports facilities for its students, including a well equipped Gymnasium, for students. The gymnasium is well equipped with facilities for archery, boxing, weight-lifting, power-lifting and shooting along with exercising materials and the college provides separate playgrounds and courts for football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho and other athletic games.  

The college provides a sick room equipped with stretchers and wheelchairs, for students and staff. The college has collaborated with Premananda Hospital, Kolkata, providing routine checkups for students as well the staff members.

The institute has adequate IT infrastructure such as computer systems with internet, wifi facility on campus, updating and maintaining college website and other similar facilities, managed by the IT department of the Scottish Church College Kolkata. 

The college provides various departmentals laboratories which have equipment like beaker, apparatus, separator, and latest equipment so that students can carry out practicals, research and other academic activities. 

SCC Kolkata auditorium is equipped to provide adequate seating capacity. It provides a space to host organising cultural events, seminars, guest lectures and debates. 

SCC Kolkata canteen provides nutritious food as well as packaged food, at affordable prices. The food is freshly prepared under hygienic conditions. 

The college has a gym with adequate equipment for athletic and strength training, catering to the mental and physical well-being of college students. The gym has the latest equipment such as weights, treadmill, cycle and other such machines. 

SCC Kolkata facilities feature Wi-Fi connectivity for students and faculty members, providing internet connectivity in the college area, including classrooms, library, auditorium and hostels.
