Sriram Engineering College (SEC), Thiruvallu, is a popular engineering college with an affiliation to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers a vast range of engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Degree wise Admission Process

B.E./B.Tech Programs: Sriram Engineering College offers eight undergraduate engineering programs, including sought-after programs like B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering, and B.E. Mechanical Engineering. The students are admitted primarily on the basis of TANCET scores. The total intake of seats in the undergraduate courses offered by the college is 300, with Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science having the maximum intake of 60 seats each course.

M.E. Courses: SEC offers two post-graduation courses in engineering - M.E. Computer Science and Engineering and M.E. Applied Electronics. Both the courses have an intake of 9 seats. Admission to these courses also relies on TANCET scores, in addition to any other requirements that the college might set. To get admission into these courses, the applicants must have a relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university.

this college is economically friendly, but academics are not so good. syllabus here is anna university syllabus, so good enough. mostly we have to self study here. teaching is not too good here, manageable if we study from outside sources together. but time to self developing ourselves is ample here
