Hello,

If can choose Thapar university over amity.

The academics, faculty, and placement record are very good at Thapar University.

You can get various opportunities to grow as a student. But the university is a bit expensive it costs 1.5 lakh per semester.

The admission is based on JEE mains score.CSE branch records the highest placement every year.

If not Thapar you can also go for VIT Vellore.it is also a reputed university with a good background.

Hey,

If your concern is regarding whether Amity University degree is having value or not, then, it do have value. See, Amity University is a recognized university from UGC and even has NAAC accreditation. Also, for job prospects even, what will matter is your skills. See, some studying in top IITs may not fetch top jobs, while some from the other colleges may grab great packages. So, at the end, it will all depend upon your capabilities and strengths. Also, Amity University is a good university to pursue any of the course.

Dear Student,

These colleges are divided into two groups, in first one Sharda and Amity are there which is also a university and in second group JSS and GCET, they are affiliated by AKTU and they are the top private colleges of AKTU.

In Amity and Sharda you can easily get your preference seat without any difficulty but for GCET and JSS you need to participate in the UPCET conducted by AKTU.

Mostly admissions are done in Amity and Sharda is on the management quota seats but in JSS and GCET only 15% are reserved for management quota students.

So here you need to understand that in Amity and Noida you will find mostly local Jaat and Gurjars studenst and strength is around 500 student in CSE related course while In JSS and GCEt only selected students are there coming from different regions of UP and NCR and only 60 or 120 students is allowed in these colleges.

Infrastructure of Amity and Sharda is somewhere good compare than JSS and GCET but faculty is more good in JSS and GCET.

In terms of placement every college stand somewhere at the some position as they provide many opportunity to the students still because of less no of students and less competition you will get more chance to prove yourself in JSS and GCET.

The average package of JSS is 6 LPA and the highest is around 40 LPA and coming to the GCET the average package is  around 6 LPA.

If you want the sequence then here it is:

JSS>GCET>Amity>Sharda

Hope you find it useful.

Good Luck :)

Hello aspirant,

Amity University is well known for its highly qualified faculty and the amazing infrastructure. Talking about psychology specifically, the faculty is experienced and quite knowledgeable. Several workshops are conducted for better understanding for students about the course.

Though, the placement cell of this University is not that good. Only the top scorers gets placement in top universities. And the fees lies on a higher end too. But it is all worth it with the quality of education.

The infrastructure is amazing. There is an incubation center, which supports startup culture on campus. There is a library that has Wi-Fi, air-conditioners, and all the books required. All the hostels are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and great facilities. There are plenty of messes. For sports, there is an arena, which is the best sports complex ever.
