The University has multiple fully automated libraries at the UETR campus, which together have an expansive collection of about 40000 titles. 36,297 books, 84 magazines and print journals, 6500 peer-reviewed e-journals, and over 1 lakh e-books can all be accessed via a computerized bar-coding system, all under careful CCTV surveillance. Libraries are a powerhouse of knowledge – there are separate, curated libraries in each department and hostel that can be referred to by the students. As one of the leading libraries of Uttarakhand, the Central Library at UETR empowers students with full access to project reports, syllabi, research papers, faculty publications, and many rare books, books for competitive exams like GATE, GRE, and TOEFL, along with previous years’ question papers from other universities in both digital and bound form. The library is also a member of Springer, DELNET & J-Gate, which gives our students access to an unlimited collection of e-journals. Xeroxing and printing facilities are available on a nominal charge.

The University has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The university’s central auditorium is enormous and acoustically built. It is used for conferences, workshops, seminars, award ceremonies, live performances, musical stage shows, orchestra concert events, band, chorus, jazz band, battle of the bands, and dance contests, amongst many others. The theatre is well-furnished, air-conditioned, and equipped with a sophisticated projector and audio systems with internet access.

The University has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The University Cafeterias are integral to students’ lives, where students chat and discuss various topics. It serves a crucial role in relieving stress and revitalizing students. The university has two campus cafeterias offering an abundance of good cuisine. One may have wonderful foods at an extremely fair price. You may readily find various dining options, from local cuisine to fast food. You can begin your day with a sip of tea and some snacks in the morning. It serves a variety of rice, chapatti, and paratha for lunch. You can enjoy sandwiches, burgers, cakes, samosa, idli, vada, and many others. All bakery items, including cakes, bread, puffs, cream buns, and patties, are accessible throughout the day.

The University campus has a well-equipped Health Center that can take care of common health problems and provide immediate care in medical emergencies. A cab/ambulance is always available on campus in case of unanticipated emergencies. The university health center is staffed 24 hours a day by physicians and medical assistants.

The University has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The University provides students access to the university’s ATM 24/7 for their immediate cash requirements and other essential financial transactions. It is equipped with CCTV surveillance to ensure the students’ safety.

The University is situated at the meeting point between Roorkee and Haridwar and is well-connected with the educational and religious cities. While the university is easily accessible right on National Highway 58, the University offers its wide range of transport facilities to its students and faculty members on very nominal charges. The buses move on different routes of Roorkee and Haridwar to pick up and drop off students to make their commutes less of a hassle.

Our bus drivers are highly qualified, and skilled and are licensed by the RTO to drive university buses to ensure the full safety of both the students & staff members. The bus facility is also available for students & faculty members for industrial visits, field trips, and other academic activities.

The University hostel rooms are spacious, semi-furnished, and available for single or double occupancy. Indoor games are available in all the hostels, including common basketball and volleyball courts. fully-equipped café serves tea, coffee, milk, soup, and snacks from 05:00 PM to 11:00 PM. UETR Residential Complex has the uniqueness of many state-of-the-art buildings, sprawling lawns, and well-maintained playgrounds in a pollution-free environment. It has been planned, designed, and constructed to address broader issues that relate to resource and energy conservation. Thoughtful landscaping creates a vibrant campus and motivates students to remain lively and active. Separate hostels are established for boys that provide a feeling of a home away from home, and the establishments, at full strength, can accommodate around 2100+ students. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled.

The University girls’ hostel is furnished with all the necessary comforts and boasts extremely high-security standards to meet the expectations of parents. Similar to the boys’ hostels, indoor games are available here as well, along with a common basketball court. A café counter is available within the premises of the girls’ mess which caters to tea and snacks in the evening up to 11:00 PM UETR Residential Complex has the uniqueness of many state-of-the-art buildings, sprawling lawns, and well-maintained playgrounds in a pollution-free environment. The university has a Gym facility for the students.

The university is a physically healthy body, we define health as having a cognitively balanced personality that adds value by having emotionally stable and culturally rich traits. The value of Health Clubs can only be comprehended via active participation, which will undoubtedly contribute to developing a healthy society and responsible citizenship, as healthy individuals are more productive and accelerate the nation’s growth. The university has separate health clubs for male and female students with state-of-the-art equipment.

The university premises offer a wide range of consumer goods, including stationery items, gift items,  sporting goods, toiletries,  and other essential goods required by the students.

The university has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
