Talking about the cutoff for general category as per the previous year trends, rank of about 13000 to 14000 can be a good score to help you secure a seat in this college.

First of all congratulations for your brilliant achievement.

If you want to stay in Gujarat, DAIICT is your go to option for studying Computer Engineering.

The proffs are great, the environment is wonderful as well as competitive giving you the chance to develop and culture here is awesome for someone who wants make all round development of its self.

Also SVNIT is not known for CS course and there are many other NITS like one in Warangal or Surathkal which has excellent CE program. So if you are hell bent on NITs pick one of these instead of SVNIT. And DAIICT is always a good option to have of you dont get admission in any of these.

All The Best.

Hello,

Can't say how is the branch as it is just going to be introduced this year but looking at the course structure I feel that it is the best branch of all the 3 branches which are offered.

As here course of CS and Mathematics are only there you don't need to study electronic and communication technology which most of us hate to. And also most of the companies don't expect us to have knowledge of this things.

Hello Aspirant,

NO.

You cannot get admission to DAIICT through gujcet alone.

You can get admission to DAIICT through 2 ways:

JEE MAINS

ACPC MERIT LIST

For ACPC merit list, 60% of BOARDS PERCENTILE and 40% of GUJCET PERCENTILE are taken into account.

Hence, if you have high enough Percentile both in Boards and GUJCET you have a good chance of getting DAIICT.

All The Best.

Hello Candidate,

DAIICT is a one of the premium institute of the Gujarat and it is a first choice of students so compition is is more here and you have to work hard  than others to get an admission into the DAIICT.

There is no any particular formula by which we can tell how much marks needed for that,

But as per the previous year's cutoffs your Rank should be 300-400. So equivalently your marks in the boards should be greater than 90 in all subjects and total GUJCET score should be above 100 Marks.

All The Best.

Hi there,

SVNIT does not enjoy a great computer engineering reputation, but the placements are good with companies like Samsung visiting each year and microsoft and apple occasionally. DAIICT also has a great reputation but remember the ICT course isn't a pure computer science course. So it will depend on your interest.

Just for the record (Being to both the campuses) infrastructure wise DAIICT is better but SVNIT is getting there with lots of renovation done in last two year. Professors wise DAIICT has a good professor base compared to computer science department of SVNIT. Location wise SVNIT is in upper hand as it is in the heart of the city. Placement wise the scenario is slightly better in SVNIT. Considering these factors please take the informed decision and the best advice will be given by the current seniors so contact them.

For SVNIT

Best of Luck.

Unfortunately, you have less chances to get admission at acpc rank 783 in DAIICT through acpc if you are in open category otherwise you can.

But If your JEE marks is good and above 150 then you can get admission thorough filling online form in college website. Here you can get admission thorough only JEE marks. If your JEE marks is above 150+ then definitely 99% you will get admission in DAIICT.
