Hi,

If you are from general category then you will not get an admission in DAIICT. Forget DAIICT and explore other colleges. 76 percentile is very low if you want to take admission in DAIICT. So it is not possible in general category.

If you are from ST/SC then chances are high. I am not sure but you may get an admission in DAIICT. It is not 100% final.

Hi,
First I tell you in Gujarat board the admission process of engineering is depends on your PCM marks. Marks of your other subjects are not counted (here I am particularly talking about engineering).

Last year result was high then current year 2022.Because thats time is covid. On last year all students pass and 100% result in GSEB that is history.
But this year your results is average so may be it is possible that If you have scored less then above Marks you get admission to there.

You get admission to the B. Tech. programs in DA-IICT are based on the All India Rank OF JEE MAIN.Students will get admitted through All India Rank and ACPC Rank in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of information and Communication Technology.

However, the students can take admission in it through GUJCET ranks and 50% seats are allocated for it.

JEE Main or GUJCET scores will be used to determine admission. The admissions procedure will be handled by the authorities on two levels: All India Level and Gujarat State Level. The aspirants must submit their applications through ACPC for the Gujarat category.
There are three ways to get admitted to DAIICT: - ACPC counseling for Gujarat counseling (50 percent of seats). For the DAIICT, the top 100 GUJCET rankings are chosen. JEE Mains (35 percent seats): The approximate minimum rank required for admission to DAIICT is 15,000.

Taking admission in Daiict for Data science candidate have to score at least 60% marks in 12th science subjects. There is no interest test is taken but the selection is based on entrance test and interview. 70% weight is for entrance test at 30% weight for interview. The meaning of score is for data science course admission is 180 in entrance test and minimum rank is 14000 in JEE mains or Gujarat joint common entrance test. Boxer rank obtained in JEE advanced is not accepted for d a i ICT data science admission in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Your score both on GSEB Board and GUJCET is really good. But there is cut-throat competition and very high cut-off marks for DAIICT. A minimum of around 99% merit marks is required for this institution for a general candidate. So, it might be difficult for you to get admission. But you surely can get admission to other top institutions like Nirma University, MSU, DDU, LD College of Engineering, and PDPU in branches like EC, IT, Chemical, Electrical, Civil etc. But you might not get CSE in Nirma.

although the majority of seat admissions in DAIICT are done through GUJCET Examination, only 35% seats are reserved for JEE mains candidates. So, in order to get DAIICT through JEE mains, you have to score a minimum rank of within 15000. The last year Closing Cutoff in JEE mains for DAIICT Was around 14700. Therefore, The top 100 ranks in GUJCET are selected for DAIICT. JEE mains (35% seats)-The minimum rank to get admission in DAIICT is 15000 approx .

The admission will be done on the basis of scores in JEE Main or GUJCET . The authorities will conduct the admission process on two levels - All India Level and Gujarat State Level .
