IISER Tirupati Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

IISER Tirupati boys hostel is a four-storied building. The hostel rooms are equipped with beds, mattress, chair, study table, almirahs, pedestals, etc. The hostel rooms have attached bathrooms, equipped with geysers. RO drinking water is installed on each floor. There is a gym on the ground floor. There is also a music room, well-furnished study room, a medical clinic, a spacious dining hall and a modern kitchen. Recreational facilities like indoor games, TV are also available in the hostels. The hostel provides 24X7 security services for the students.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati girls hostel facilities include well-furnished rooms, modern appliances, study room, music room, TV hall, modern kitchen, a medical clinic, RO drinking water and many more. 24X7 security systems are installed for the safety of the students and the hostels.

IISER Tirupati has an on-campus medical clinic. IISER Tirupati medical clinic facilities include first-aid management, medicines, routine check-up, OP consultation and an ambulance for emergencies. The medical clinic administers treatment to the students, staff and faculty members with the help of a doctor and full-time nurses.

The institute library facilitates teaching, learning and research activities of the faculty members, students and staff  members. IISER Tirupati library facilities include a large collection of textbooks, reference books and general books on Science and allied subjects, encyclopedias, laboratory manuals, dictionaries, etc. The library uses KOHA Integrated Library System to automate the day-to-day work and OPAC software to access the library resources for academic and research work. E-resources like e-books, online journals, online databases are also available in the library. The library is a member of e-Shodh Sindhu and IISER Library Consortium.

IISER Tirupati sports facilities include both indoor and outdoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis, tennis, basketball, football, cricket, hockey, etc.

The entire campus is enabled with wi-fi. All departments are equipped with computers, connected with high-speed internet.

All classrooms and lecture halls are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with computers, projectors, LCD players, wi-fi to facilitate a high level of learning and teaching practices.

The institute provides departmental laboratories.
