Dear Aspirant,
Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology:-
Placements: Placement is pretty good. They offer a decent average package and almost all the students are placed in esteemed companies. Top companies are Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte and many more. It is a good return of investment for all the students.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well managed, clean and pretty hygienic compared to regular engineering college standards. The Wi-Fi services are good but not great. The food available in the mess is hygienic and full of nutrients. The cafeteria is one of the most happening places on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty is a mixed bag. Some of them are very cooperative and understanding but on the other hand some of them do lack quality. Course curriculum is the standard engineering curriculum followed by majority of engineering colleges all over the country.
Chandigarh University:-
Placements: More than 90 percent of students were placed in the course. The highest package was of INR 36 Lacs offered by Arcesium while average package stood at 8.7 Lacs. The to recruiting companies were Arcesium, adobe, Zomato etc. The internship opportunities are good like internship in cloud computing in Ezmata technologies. Marketing and sales executive intern and many more.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University is well-equipped with wi-fi and infrastructure is quite good in the university. The library is good you can find almost every book there. The classrooms are also neat and clean. There are all type of hostels- 2 and 3 sweaters and they to are well-equipped with wi-fi, gyms, salons for both boys and girls.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and are qualified, the teaching quality was fine. The course curriculum was relevant, also there were some interesting subjects like artificial intelligent, IOT etc. The semester exams were pretty easy and an average student can easily get more than 7 CGPA.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
Hey Yash,
Firstly congratulation for your result. Now about your query , the admission procedure for JIIT Noida are done in two ways. One is through JEE mains and other is merit based.
If a candidate wants to apply for both JEE (Main) 2021 and NRI Category/ 10+2 marks based admission, he or she must apply separately and pay the requisite application cost.
All JUs will receive counselling and admissions based on the JEE (Mains) 2021 All India Rank (AIR) at the JIIT, Noida campus.
A candidate must first choose one of the JU (JIIT, JUIT, or JUET) and then proceed to the selection of programmes.

Hi
This is a very tough choice. Both the universities are great, providing great education to their students along with giving them good placements in renowned companies.
Here are some points which will guide you in choosing which is better:
Chandigarh University: established in year 2012 this private college offers 49 btech courses and is considered very good for computer science engineering. The college is UGC approved and has a grade'A+' NAAC accreditation ranking 42 in The week' 20 and 46 in Outlook'20. The accepted exam is CUCET Chandigarh University exam and Candidates must have 50% in 12th. They have good faculty and the highest salary offered is INR 35.00 LAKHS. Companies like panasonic, mindtree, birlasoft, HDFC bank, TCS, deloitte, precision group, google, flipkart, amazon, Microsoft recruit new graduates.
JIIT- JAYPEE INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY- It is another great name among the engineering colleges. Established in 2001 this college is a private deemed to be university which offers 11 course. This college accepts JEE mains exam. It is approved by UGC, AICTE With a grade ' B+' accreditation by NAAC. It ranks 48 in both Outlook'20 and The week' 20. It provides good faculty and the highest salary offered is INR 40.63 lakhs with median salary of INR4.00 lakhs. Companies like cognizant, RxLogix corporation, octro, Ericsson,Accolite, CDS, ArgilDX recruit students and also adobe, amazon, nestle etc
Hope this helps
Hi Vineeta ,
I am sorry to say this but your chances of getting admitted in jaypee university are a bit low . because colleges gives you admission on the basis of your CRL rank and as you mentioned your EWS rank is 30,000 so according to my estimation your CRL rank would be somewhere above 1.5 lakh . So with this rank your chances of getting CSE are low in jaypee university . But you can definitely try for other branches like information technology(IT) AND electronics and communication engineering (ECE) . Also if you are only interested in CSE I would recommend you to at least fill the the form and participate in the physical rounds of counselling.
Hope this answer helps
All the best for future!
Hi there,
Comparing two colleges that are just like a twin to the other. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology has been a great college in terms of placements, academic and other activities. JIIT 128 and JIIT 62 are somewhat similar to each other.
But I would suggest you go with the JIIT sector 62 . The reason for choosing JIIT is because of the placement and opportunities provided to the students.
For instance, I am mentioning both campuses :
JIIT Secor 62:
JIIT Sector 128:
Since the fees structure is almost the same on both campuses. It is a student who needs to work upon themselves to change the mindset and improve the skill set. College is responsible for providing you with the degree and opportunities chance. But the real action must be taken by the student itself.
I hope this helps you.

Thank you:)
Hi aspirant,
Congratulations on your wonderful performance in the senior secondary examinations. See there is no minimum cutoffs or percentage that is required to confirm a seat in CSE or IT at the institution. The admission is completely merit based and is done via a counselling procedure for which the application forms were invited till 31st July. The percentage and choices preferences of candidates are collected and then verified before releasing the merit list. If you are among the top candidates aspiring for CSE or Information Technology and your merit number is above the total number of seats available, you will get it. Your chances are good considering the previous trends but it can't be confirmed as the percentage of candidates have soared to very high level for this year.
Hope it helps!!
Dear candidate, admission in various courses is done in JIIT Noida:

Dear Student,
Both the colleges are in UP, Greater Noida and both one have the different selection criteria, lets discuss one by one.
1. Admission process of JIIT
To take admission in JIIT in the b.tech course you need to come in the merit list prepared by the campus which is done on the basis of the marks of your 10th, 11th and 12th exam followed by interview discussion round. You can also take admission through management quota but from that method they might ask you the extra money in the name of donation especially for CSE.
2. Admission process of JSS noida
To take admission in JSS noida you need to to register the application for of UPCET conducted by AKTU, Lucknow which is already passed so you you can take admission here only through the management quota and here also they want extra money in the name of donation especially for CSE
Comparing both the colleges I will suggest you to go with the JIIT because it is deemed-to-be-university and approved by UGC & AICTE while JSS is affiliated to AKTU University and its B.tech section is NBA accredited and have NIRF certificate. Faculty is somewhere good in JIIT and it also has a good infrastructure and campus life . Coming to the placements the average package of JIIT is around 8 lakhs and highest package is 43 lakhs, while JSS average package is 8 LPA and highest package is 40 LPA.
So the decision is totally up to you in which campus you will take admission.
Hope you find it useful.
Good Luck:)
Dear Rahul,
You did not mention the branch to which you want admission to JIIT.
If you want to admission in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology(JIIT) then you have passed your class 12 and you should qualify JEE Mains with a valid rank.
Moreover, JIIT is recognized by AICTE and accredited by the NAAC . the placement record of JIIT is good. Top recruiters of this college are Adobe, HCL, Cognizant ,Amazon etc. The average salary offered was 5-6 lakh. The highest salary package offered was 43 lakhs. The lowest salary package offered was 4 lakhs. More than 95% of students get campus placement.
You can predict your JEE Main rank and percentile from the link given below https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Best of luck :)
Jaypee institute of technology, Noida boasts modern labs and research facilities as it's best feature, providing a strong technical environment. The worst feature is the limited Green space , which can make the campus feel less vibrant.
The course structure for every semester is good. My course is very much related to so in the first semester, there are basic Biology courses which help the students to get interested in the core fields.
Well-equipped with modern instruments and technology. Labs for civil engineering include structural engineering labs and geotechnical labs. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors and smart boards.
