Below I have provided the detailed information about both of the colleges : 

YMCA University of Science and Technology - 

• YMCA University is a private/government owned state university located in Faridabad. It was eshtablished in the year 1969. It has a campus of 20 acres having a faculty of 173 people.
• It is UGC approved college and has been ranked by NIRF at 144th. Also, the college has been acrredited 'A' grade by NAAC.
• The college has all the required facilities like separate boys and girl hostel, library, cafetria, guest rooms, bank facilities etc.
• Now as per the placements, B.E./B.Tech candidates gets a average package of 3.50 Lakhs and M.E./M.Tech candidates gets an average of 3.80 Lakhs package.

Chaudhary Devi Lal University - 

• Ch Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology (panniwala mota engineering college) is part of Chaudhary Devi Lal University and is located in Sisra. It is a public/government state university and was eshbtablished in the year 2003. The university has a campus of 213 acres with 114 faculty. However, the college has only 22 faculties. 
• The university is UGC approved and is also accrediated 'B' grade by NAAC.
• The university and college, both have the facilities like separate girls and boys hostel, gym, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital facilties, guest room, bank facilties etc.
• Information about placements is not available.

Now, according to me rankwise and placement wise YMCA University of Science and Technology is far better than Ch Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology. It has better campus, better accreditation and facilities plus the package offered is good. So if you want you can try for this college.

Hello there. Yes you can get your desired stream and college with that rank.

Just want to say if in any case you are not able to grab the seat in spot round, then YMCA do conducts open counseling in which your chances are very high to grab the seat. So don't let that chance go if you don't get seat in spot round

Hello Aspirant, I am very sorry to tell you that, if the merit list doesn't contain your's children name then it means that your's son marks have been low for getting it to be selected for seat. But now you have to move on and start looking for new colleges.

For btech course plz tell me fast 

Hello aspirant, to grab a seat in YMCA Faridabad in B.tech a candidate has to appear for JEE mains. And then he/she has to register itself to HSTES Counselling by this you can get admission in YMCA Faridabad.

YMCA offered average salary package of 2.75 lakh per year, and maximum went to 6 LPA. 

For Santa longowal institute,  average salary package for BE/BTech was 3lpa and for ME/Mtech was 3.5LPA. 

So both of their placements don't vary on a large scale and it all depends on your skills.

Hey Sujal! YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST), formerly YMCA Institute of Engineering (YMCA IE), is a state university located in Faridabad, in the state of Haryana, India. It was established in 1969. National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous body funded by the UGC, has accredited the University with 'A Grade'. There for it will be very difficult for you to make through YMCA since its seats are available to the candidates cleared JEE Mains.

If you are satisfied with the branch and college allotted to you in the second round you need not wait for the third round. But in case you want a better college or branch that you have higher in your priority list in the locked choices you can wait for further rounds. Anyways there will not be any problem with waiting for next round of counseling.

A crafter certificate is awarded to apprentices who complete the term of their training contract (the employer agrees that you have successfully completed your on the job training) but have not been awarded the appropriate qualification by their registered training organisation.

In YMCA

• Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of JEE Main followed by HSTES Counseling.
• For remaining UG courses, candidates are selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

If you have fulfilled the criteria for admission as well as crossed the minimum cutoff rank barrier you can visit this link to check the documents needed for counselling http://www.ymcaust.ac.in/images/admission2017/list_of_documents_btech_2017.pdf . There is no mention of a crafter certificate in the needed documents. If you have dropped a year you can get an affidavit from any court of law stating why you had dropped a year. All the best.

As per your rank in JEE mains you can surely take admission in YMCA Faridabad wi civil engineering branch.

Civil engineering is a good branch having maximum number of government jobs. But the only problem is that it has least number of placement. 

If you are interested in it then nothing matters . You go for it.
