The college needs more ways for coordination and better delivering of notices and events happening. Also, the hostel needs a lot of improvement in terms of hygiene, pest control and water. There's a need for more laboratories and network facilities.
I’m currently a student at KR Mangalam University, and I’d like to share an honest review based on my experience so far. Academics: 4/5 The faculty here is generally good and supportive. Many professors are well-qualified and experienced, though teaching styles can vary. Some are really interactive and make learning enjoyable, while others stick more to the textbook. The curriculum is updated regularly and aligned with industry needs, especially in programs like BBA, Law, and Computer Science. Campus Life: 4/5 The campus is modern and still developing. There's a nice balance of greenery and infrastructure. You’ll find decent sports facilities, Wi-Fi across campus, a well-equipped library, and smart classrooms. There are frequent events, workshops, and fests, which keep things lively. Placements: 3.5/5 Placements are improving every year. Some big companies visit, and students with good skills and communication do land good offers. However, placements can depend a lot on your individual performance and initiative. The placement cell is active but has room to grow in terms of industry reach. Hostel & Facilities: 4/5 Hostel life is decent. Rooms are clean, food is average but manageable, and there’s 24/7 security. Facilities like gym, laundry, and common rooms are available, which is a plus. Location: 4/5 The university is located in Sohna, Gurugram – a bit far from the city but still accessible. It’s peaceful and distraction-free, which helps in focusing on studies. Things to Improve: More industry tie-ups and internships Better campus placement for core technical roles Some departments need more hands-on, practical exposure Final Verdict: KR Mangalam University is a good option if you’re looking for a developing university with growing infrastructure, active student life, and a mix of academic and extracurricular activities. Just make sure to be proactive and make the most of the opportunities here.
The infrastructure is nice, has all the necessary facilities and equipment. The labs, libraries and sport centre are equipped. The hostel facilities are fine, but the food in the hostel mess and Canteen is not up to the mark.
