Biotechnology( better placements)
Industrial design( no placements , but more exposure)

Hello Aspirant, The food in NIT Rourkela is not bad despite of you are not from North India. They gave the different dishes everyday like choose Bhature, Biryani, Halwa, Kadhai Paneer etc. There are two Halls CVR and KMS. CVR for girls and KMS for boys.

Dear candidate,
NIT Rourkela has two hostels for girls.You will get one of the hostels based on your admissions in the Institute.
For the first and second years students the room is shared by 2-4 students per room,but it has seperate cupboard, table,chair for each student in the room.
And after second year ,you get one room per student.

I checked about the branch upgradation policy at NIT Kurukshetra on internet. Many students of NIT Kkr are of the opinion that branch change was possible till 2017, then from 2018, they changed this policy and made it impossible to change your branch in first year. So, for this batch starting in 2019, it is not possible to upgrade your branch, if they had not made any further amendments in the rules.
It has a huge campus of 300 acres which is green and clean . Hostel facilities are good .Mess food is healthy and hygenic .Sport facilities are awesome . Gym has a trainer and contains lots of equipments.

The college infrastructure is very well. Every student feel better after getting admission in this college. This college provide facilities and equipments for the practical purpose to the students. The classrooms ,libraries and the laboratories sports ground are clean.
