Dear Harsh,

Hello student,

With a rank of around 17,000 in the jobs category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in nits under chemical engineering as the closing ranks were around 5,700 for the home state quota in nit Warangal. Yet, ranks and scores vary each year depending on various factors. However, you can also predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below-mentioned link:

Congratulations on your result. Keep hustling and maintain this.

So, coming to the question. You can get NIT Warangal at this rank for sure. You can expect to get Chemical Engineering and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branches at NIT Warangal. However, you can not get top branches like CSE, ECE, etc. If your home state is Warangal, you can also get Biotechnology .

Hello Student,

We would first like to tell you that there are many factors that help determine the kind of placement you might get:

  • Your branch : If you are in cse, ece or eee then you might begin with a higher starting package as compared to the core branches (mech, Chem, biotech, civil and meta).

  • Your technical skills:

  • Your grades: Youll find many people who say that grade points dont matter but believe me THEY Do. So I would highly recommend that you maintain a decent grade point.

Good Luck!!

Colleges select students based upon their Jee mains rank. Kindly share the exact rank of your daughter Sir/Ma'am.

Your daughter will have a rank between 15k to  32 k if we go by the predictions of last year. NIT warangal in 2021 closed its admission for btech in biotech at a rank of 14 k and for civil engineering at a rank of 12 k after 6 rounds(for obc non creamy layer),excluding the special rounds. College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is average. However, environmental planning department has good infrastructure. Classes are air-conditioned with comfortable seats and Wi-Fi. The canteen food is affordable and good. The hostel rooms are developed to accommodate one student per room. However, due to lack of rooms usually, 2 people share the room (it's on a consent basis, if the room is allotted to you, then it's your wish to give consent and accommodate other classmates and no discount on fees will be given for consent).
