I believe you should prefer Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay over NIT W CSE. Engineering Physics is basically a Engineering Research branch and deals with Physics in Engineering and Application. As far as IIT Bombay is concerned, you shouldnt have any issue regarding Location, Faculty, Infrastructure and Research Facilities. As far as Placements are concerned opportunities in Core Physics sector seem bleak with many students joining Samsung Semiconductor, TSMC, LAM Research and some other companies like Applied Materials and Intel. But many students opt for pursuing Masters or Doctoral Degree post Undergraduate from Faculties of Physics in top US Universities like Princeton, UC Berkeley and Stanford. Besides this IIT Bombay has excellent placements as far as non core sector is concerned and you can always find high paying opportunities in Software/IT/Finance/Consultancy, etc. Perhaps I believe at this Rank you might find other Core or Circuital in many other Top IITs and can also consider them.

Hey
It is difficult to get a seat in NIT Warangal at this rank even if you are in the home state. The cut off for gen PWD home state according to previous statistics goes near 300
You can try for seats in some nit . You will surely land in a good government college.
All the best!
Plzz note ,any NIT can't take addmission for non engineering student.your graduation not complete through b.tech so u can't eligible.
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that both the colleges are situated in South India. You will not face much language problem while you are in the college as the medium of instructions in these colleges is English only. However, you might face language problem while placements only in the companies which requires communication skills in local language. Such companies gives preference to students who are comfortable in local language. Other than that, you will not face much problem.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Dear Aspirant,
Among the options you have mentioned, I would suggest go with the bachelor degree in the NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal is one of the top colleges among the NITs. You will also have advantages for the btech as the btech in computer science is better than mtech.
Moreover, if you further wants to do a masters outside of India, BTech would be a good option as some colleges do not allow the dual degree holders.
Also the placement opportunities for the btech are more as compared to the dual degree candidate.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hello aspirant,
NIT Warangal is one of the most prestigious NITs. It is an amazing campus and has high placement records. But metalurgical engineering has lesser placements in any college when compared to CSE, ECE or EEE. So, if you are really interested in metalurgical engineering, do join and don't miss out the chance to be in a wonderful campus. If you don't have any interest, choose your favourite course in any other good college.
As provided by the college records, the average median salary in metalurgical and material science is 9 lakhs per annum. ADP, AFCONS Infrastructure, Bank of America ,Deloitte, Exxon ,fidelity, Ford Motors ,GAIL(Gas Authority Of India Ltd) ,HINDALCO are some recruiting companies. The average placement percentage is 80%.
Hope this was helpful

The college boasts a well-structured campus with excellent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest teaching aids. The labs are well-maintained, supporting hands-on learning. The library is extensive and well-organized. The sports facilities are commendable.
The infrastructure of the college is average. However, environmental planning department has good infrastructure. Classes are air-conditioned with comfortable seats and Wi-Fi. The canteen food is affordable and good. The hostel rooms are developed to accommodate one student per room. However, due to lack of rooms usually, 2 people share the room (it's on a consent basis, if the room is allotted to you, then it's your wish to give consent and accommodate other classmates and no discount on fees will be given for consent).
The college has a great infrastructure and facilites for the students including smart classrooms, gymnasium and multi sports arena for the students. The classrooms are completely smart equipped with smart boards and microphones for a great learning experience. The Wi-Fi is also good and library provides many resources helpful in the MBA journey. The food and living hygiene is maintained at its best.
