Amity University Noida B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyAmong Top 30 National Universities for Engineering (NIRF 2024)
Both are good in terms of academics and placements. Well, let's see the placements statistics first.
PLACEMENTS 2019
ACADEMICS
Academics of both the colleges are great and teachers are able to deliver top quality lectures. Many students from both the colleges got paid internship in 2nd and 3rd year also.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Now it's your turn to choose your dream college. All the best.
Hey!
To focus on only Academics, you can choose IIIT HYDERABAD. But it has a small Campus and there is not much focus on extracurricular activities. The atmosphere is extremely competitive. Apart from its decent placements, it also has a good research culture. The Faculties have high expertise. But the total fee structure for a course is higher than NIT, Warangal.
NIT, Warangal will give great exposure to students from different parts of the country. Student quality is excellent. It also has great placements and infrastructure.
So, you can go for IIIT if you afford the fee structure.
Thank you.
Hi there,
Yes certainly NIT warangal is very good college indeed, but we can not say that is it better or not but definitely the placements and infrastructure are quite similar to that of many IITs and since it is there since a very long time then definitely it is somewhere better as the new iits.
Still the IITs are better than the Nit.
I hope this helps
Hi Aspirant,
NIT Warangal stands better than NIT Kurukshetra in the NIRF table. So, any of the core branches at NIT Warangal is a better aspect than NIT Kurukshetra. Hence, Mechanical Engineering at NIT Warangal will be a better option than IT at NIT Kurukshetra.
In terms of placement and other aspects as well, Mechanical at NIT Warangal is better suggested.
Hi Aspirant!
According to previous year last round cutoffs and trends the maximum rank under which a HOME STATE ST candidate git the admission in NIT WARANGAL is around 1400 to 1500 rank but your rank is far from that hence it would be impossible for you to get into NIT WARANGAL.
You can try your luck in CSAB special counseling for better chances or can go for IIIT or GFTI.
You can follow these Career360's articles for a better understanding of cutoffs.

Hey aspirant,
I wouldn't be able to suggest you with which branch you should go for. As,this is a really important decision amongst the students. You should only go with that branch in which you feel you are more comfortable and interested. It's but obvious that you wouldn't want to waste your 4 years of life in studying something in which you are not at all interested.
So, coming to the cutoffs I guess you may get nit warangal for biotechnology but as we know the cutoffs vary and so does the chance of getting seats. So for that I would suggest you to go through the cutoff list using the link mentioned below-

Hope it helps.
Good luck.
The college boasts a well-structured campus with excellent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest teaching aids. The labs are well-maintained, supporting hands-on learning. The library is extensive and well-organized. The sports facilities are commendable.
The infrastructure of the college is average. However, environmental planning department has good infrastructure. Classes are air-conditioned with comfortable seats and Wi-Fi. The canteen food is affordable and good. The hostel rooms are developed to accommodate one student per room. However, due to lack of rooms usually, 2 people share the room (it's on a consent basis, if the room is allotted to you, then it's your wish to give consent and accommodate other classmates and no discount on fees will be given for consent).
The college has a great infrastructure and facilites for the students including smart classrooms, gymnasium and multi sports arena for the students. The classrooms are completely smart equipped with smart boards and microphones for a great learning experience. The Wi-Fi is also good and library provides many resources helpful in the MBA journey. The food and living hygiene is maintained at its best.
